Imagine you are a potential shellfish or seaweed farming in Maine hoping to
start your first aquaculture operation. There are so many things about farm
location, farm equipment, and husbandry style to consider that it is hard to
imagine where to start! Luckily, a number of free, online resources are available to help prospective farmers choose their lease location. In this webinar, Tom Kiffney will demonstrate the use of resources that cover topics including: historic HAB events, high resolution satellite sea surface temperatures, salinity data, etc.
