The green sea urchin fishery has been declining in recent decades and aquaculture growth for this species is emerging to support enhanced production. In this talk we will overview the current status and recent efforts or growing the sea urchin aquaculture sector, over several years in collaborations between the University of Rhode Island, University of Maine's Center for Cooperative Aquaculture Research (CCAR), and Maine Sea Grant.
