To So many people who are trying to criticize Rachit, They don't understand that an electric car is 75% hardware and 25% software, Optimization and software updates can make a day and night difference in car's performance. Also: being a Mahindra XUV 300 owner and I've tried driving Nexon too. XUV chassis and design is far far more confident.

My driving experience of Nexon EV was much better than XUV 400. Which is shocking considering Nexon doesn't have the underpinnings of Omega Arc. It was still more planted, confident and comfortable than XUV 400

You guys are absolutely right - Nexon is 0.4 seconds slower. The problem is how it makes you feel. The Innova HyCross and XUV700 diesel do 0-100 in similar timing - but the Innova is no fun to drive. That factor can’t be measured on a paper.

Personally I can't have this much anxiety, I would like to enjoy my trip/drive rather thn caring about how much charge is left and planning my trip around the chargers. 1. Charging mai boht time lgega 2. Charger milna chahiye 3. Charger working hona chahiye 4. Half an hour gaadi chalaane ke baad bar bar kitni battery drop hui hai vo dekhna 5. Upfront Extra cost compared to other fuel options 6. Ghar mai charger install krvana 7. Car mai aag lagna khade khade

True! But shortsighted. U will regret this by 2024 Dec onwards when ev chargers will be available at every 100-150 kms and u will still be paying 1000 - 2000 bucks every week for your petrol with fuel and maintenance cost anxiety then!

Are there any EV Car Conversion Kits available and/or govt approved in India, as I drive a diesel Elantra which will be completing 10 years by 2025 with just 90K KM as on date. And, I want to go electric next, hence was really interested in knowing if any such options are currently available or will be available in the coming year??

It is absolutely safe. All Mercs, BMWs, Tesla long range, Volvos, Hyundai, Kia also use NMC. Most Chinese automakers use LFP and off lately VW Group has built their smaller and mid range cars on LFP.

but why you have not consider new nexon.ev?

As we know that xuv 300 new model is under testing and will he launched soon... I request you to do a detailed comparison between new nexon and new xuv 300. I am looking to buy a car in early 2024 but m confused between these 2..

Bhai a quick check: I am planning to buy Nexon, budget strictly 10-10.50L. Petrol priority as low running in city. Old lu ya new as I am getting a price difference of 1.10 lakhs on road for similar version that is XMS old and pure 1.2 new. Please reply asap. Thanks in advance!!

Tesla hs moved to LFP only on standard range - for performance/long range it will always be NMC of the 2.

Booked the new nexon ev, but its based on my requirement of better features and compact size (compared to xuv400 or larger suvs), but if my requirement was for longer drives and heavier use i wouldve bought xuv400 for better space as im 6'1" inch tall and the raised floor height with nexon long range is a slight disadvantage you wouldnt want to have in long drives So as rachit said, to each their own

We have , creta , ciaz , nexon , xuv 300 . Nexon petrol top model newly bought . Nexon has the worst drive and inside space and ergonomics. Talking about xuv 300 petrol , i prefer it over creta most of the times , because i love how it takes the pick up.

Just yesterday a Mahindra EV car went up in flames in the middle of the road in Bengaluru. I sincerely pray for your safety and long life with another Mahindra EV car. Om shanti. 🙏🙏🙏

Not necessarily... I felt Nexon Ev quite cluster phobic... comparatively XUV is much bigger. I too bought XUV 400 after comparing with Nexon. I was looking for bigger car.

It's actually the other way. XUV is NMC. NMC batteries have better performance and about 20% lesser life than LFP.
