Did you just pull that out of your rectal database or what? It’s a family run company that’s been around since the 60’s and still going strong today. I sold my shares to a family member and got out of the business.

    Thanks for the compete testing. I think the ammo is pretty good. I have a question at about 5:24 -- I think the instructions of the Chronograph say "15 feet". You put it about 3 feet away. Isn't it too close? because according to the groups, the velocities should not be so wide spread. Also, I think you know you could download the app for the Chronograph? Use the cable to connect the Chronograph with the phone, and the app would do all the calculations for you. -- that's what I've been doing.

    Well it might make the steel slicker so not as much extraction problems but its still steel case and does not expand as much as brass leaving a gap between the case wall and the chamber wall where carbon fouling blow back will still foul a chamber. So regardless of the enhanced extraction measure of nickel coating on the steel, guns will still need to be cleaned more often than brass to keep the fouling and malfunctions down. Magtech must be doing better because its always performed poor accuracy results for me.

    Will the nickel coated steel case accelerated wear in the chamber?

  • @spacecaesar7619

    @spacecaesar7619

    5 ай бұрын

    No, the lubricity of nickel is obscenely high. There's a reason premium defensive ammo is all nickel coated brass. The cases themselves are also going to be very soft steel, so while they are harder than brass, it's not particularly likely that they'll accelerate wear; especially given the coating.

    @@spacecaesar7619 i always laugh at the barrel wear thing because with the money you save from buying 10,000 rounds of 9mm you can buy a couple of spare barrels so you end up with a new barrel at the end of 10,000 rounds instead of a well worn one from brass ammo plus money left over.
