This video is a quick review on Magnesium firestarters. They are available just about anywhere and cost under $10 bucks. Now your not gonna want to light your cigarette with this, but in a outdoor/ survival situation this is the easiest, most reliable way to light a fire. Some come with a striker but the best way to ignite it is with a knife. You simply have to shave off some flakes of magnesium with your knife then strike the bar and point the sparks toward the magnesium pile and after a few tries it will ignite. Magnesium burns at 5400F and therefore will ignite even wet tinder. Overall its a great buy and everyone should have one.
