60 years old. So many people want to use the age number to describe that she is "old", "irrelevant", "so 80s and 90s". She has paved the American cultural society since the late 80s with tolerance and acceptance. For one specific individual to be able to accomplish what she has done, and still does, make me appreciate Madonna for her legacy past, present, and future!

I loved it because I love the Lord and I think that if we trully repent, we are forgiven of all our sins. Her outfit from 5:55 onwards is an homage to Brunhilde, one of the strongest female opera characters ever created. She defies the authority of her father Odin for love to him and to the human race, loses her immortality as punishment, becomes the lover and teacher of the greatest of the heroes (named Sigfried) and at the end sacrifies herself in the burning pyre of her lover for the sake of humanity. All that happens along three different operas by Wagner: The Walkyre (the title refers to her), Sigfried (the title refers to her lover) and Twilight of the Gods (the title refers to the death of her in the first place and the rest of the gods). The MET closed that 2018-2019 season with the performance of the whole tetralogy from March 9th to May 11th of 2019. Despite the strong tie between Madonna and Italian/Mediterranean culture, her portrayal of a such a strong and determined nordic heroine really makes sense to me.

I'm not such a huge fan of her music...I do have favorites though. I do HATE how people are so hateful since she had a bad performance. People are so mean. I think it's more than just a youtube phenomena....as bad as youtube comments can be I think people love to tear people down. We all need to stop this whenever possible.

Rarely do we get someone who continues to grow and flourish in their craft. Madonna is a force of nature that just keeps getting better and better as time goes by. She is truly a legend!

It's amazing how she has mastered her voice in time. I don't think there is anything else for her to master with her voice. She maintains that low voice throughout the song "Hallelujah" and only towards the end does she give us some different inflections. I was struggling internally wanting to hear the soprano come out of me, perhaps higher notes come out of her. But no, she remained constant. I remained quiet and listened. Never seen this video before by the way. Years of working hard and other distractions kept me from seeing so many videos and concerts. I have only recently stepped into the world of Madonna. So much for me to explore. Yes!

People can say all they want. Madonna is not the best vocalist in the world. We know this. but she does not have to be. Madonna infuses each word with emotion, which is not easy to do or fake. Her rendition of Hallelujah was not perfect pitch or anything, but it was hauntingly beautiful, it was emotional. Emotion is lacking in music today. Am glad she has never stopped.

Been a fan since the very beginning. Have never followed her for her vocal skills. Not everyone can be a powerhouse singer, but she does have a great voice. With her it's more about the show and the art of her performances. Her music is a musical that spans decades. Her songs are like poetry, and her performances are life. I just love her and loved this performance. I don't think I've ever seen such a raw performance from her that deep, and it was amazing.

Where Wen Goes i like her music, but she has never been a singer with good voice. She can sound average, she sounded the best when trained her voice for Evita, yet she will never be remembered as a singer. Sorry just clarifying you that. Her voice kept breaking. So she did not sounded ”the best ever”. She is getting old and the voice is an istrument. That is just understandible. I liked her getting back to her roots and turning into catholism. That is thematic that most her. She is the original catholic girl gone bad. Or maybe she just were lost and found her way back home.

The rollout of this album era is immaculate. I appreciate the fact the collaborations doesn't sound too extra like the previous album, Rebel Heart. Bacci M mate it’s a dynamic cardioid mic, it doesn’t care about acoustics, she replaced her original vocals with another track both at eurovsion and here

She sounds really good.

Her voice may be scratchy and pitchy but she is impeccable at creating a visual/emotional/musical journey. I actually prefer her voice at this age.

Simply outstanding. What she does she does with a passion so lacking in todays artists! When Madonna performs its usually with a mission, a statement and its that what connects her to her art, so you believe it! Shes not doing it for doing its sake!

john disette I respect her immensely, and agree with you - she is an icon, and an amazingly hard worker and innovator since her beginning. However, there are many great and amazing singers still around and doing shows after 40 or more years. Look at Barbara Streisand (not that I am a fan, but she has longevity and an amazing voice) and if you look at the world of musicals, jazz and opera, you will find others who have longevity and fresh voices. Glenn Close singing in the musical Sunset Blvd is at least 70. Tina Turner - the woman is over 70.Still amazing. Nina Simone was someone who was around for ages. Soprano Edita Gruberová is over 70 and is doing one last production.

This performance is up there with some of her best. Why isn’t this adored by her fans?!? Guys!!! We are missing some of her best stuff by being ageist pricks. This is beyond. No one comes close.
