The world really doesn't give Lady Gaga enough credit for this show. Lady Gaga jumped from the top of the stadium, doing acrobatics, singing and dancing at the same time without missing a note, changing costumes and giving phenomenal vocals all solo while suffering from chronic fibromyalgia pains.

In my opinion. No Super Bowl halftime, after 2017, has topped her performance… I think the main reason is because of the fact that the best Super Bowls are generally artists that aren’t sharing the stage: MJ, Prince, Lady Gaga, U2, BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN Performances with more than 1 artists of different styles can go from either really good, or really bad…. A good example would be the Chili Peppers with Bruno Mars… you either like it or hate it lol… of course there are some bad or disturbing performances by solo artists like The Weeknd ☠️

This is still the best Superbowl halftime show at least in the past 7 years. No halftime shows after this have topped it.

Let's keep it real, I've been a HUGE Gaga fan/Little Monster since 2008, but The Weeknd's Superbowl was also INCREDIBLE ❤❤ Abel had to content with covid and literally spent $9 MILLION DOLLARS OF HIS OWN MONEY to build a stage and give us incredible visuals also. Gaga nailed the choreo and singing, but Abel also did an incredible job in his own right! Pretending that Gaga's the only one who gave us a FANTASTIC SB halftime show is silly and fails to acknowledge other legends, like Abel, who also put on an INCREDIBLE performance!! 👏🏽👏🏽🔥

Actually, she was out of breath and going flat and sometimes basically not singing at all because she was out of breath. I see why many singers opt to have backing vocals. It keeps the integrity of the performance. Regardless, the show was flawless.

This is the best Super Bowl Performance of the last 20 years hands down. Lady Gaga came in flying on a cable and left by jumping off stage. She danced and actually sang - instead of just ad-libbing. And, she wasn't just shaking ass the whole time, either. She had a costume change, and she did the whole set without any other featuring artists.

@@kaydgaming Yeah, there's no way that was lip sync. If it was it was either the best job of it (as in the most credible) or the worst (as in the poorest quality). While her singing is incredible, you can hear that her breath support isn't always spot on. Now, it couldn't be. It is impossible to dancing as energetically as that AND still have enough breath to give 100% breath support to singing. It doesn't matter how skilled on a singer you are. I don't speak about her breath control as a put down....the breath control she does exhibit is GOD-like. To have the quality of breath control she DOES have is incredible, but you would not expect for it to be as "breathy" if it were truly a lip-synced performance. It just wouldn't make sense. The point of lip syncing is to provide the BEST quality audio possibly, which wouldn't, typically, mean super breathy singing. Additionally, particularly in "Bad Romance" there are times you can see her really engage her core as she is getting ready to belt a note...or is holding a note. You can physically SEE her singing it.

It amazes me how she’s literally flipping around in the air, running, jumping and she still sounds so stable

7 years later, this is still one of the most iconic Superbowl halftime show, so fun yet entertain to watch

It's insane how rewatching this performance has truly become a global tradition every year during the Super Bowl. Gaga slayed this one.

I remember that i used to have to defend to my friends why i loved her so much, back when Fame Monster came out. Now, so many people i know are loving and supporting her and it honestly makes me so happy. Little monster for life.

She doesn't lipsync she dance's the choreo of all of her songs with high heels on and big costumes. She's the best singer

I really love the fact that this performance gets tons of views and positive comments every year after super bowl. What an amazing artist & performer ❤ She really did it without one guest artist. A LEGEND

Boss Baby Fuyuhiko Man....Maroon 5 was terrible. Embarrassing. Lady Gaga set a new bar for sure. Maroon didn’t even try.

So overwhelmed with emotion, from her first lyrics on the roof I was in tears, I was so moved.....been sharing her gift for almost a decade as much as possible online & with family and friends, .......her opening on the roof, so breathtaking, inspirational & filled with warmth from her heart, Stefani totally slays this night, from the first moment until she was off stage, I just had to watch this one more time ( ok, my 10th ) her opening on the roof and later at the piano for "Million Reasons" really got to me, I was in tears, there's so much to love about her passion..... I just knew she would share 'Poker Face", "Telephone" "Just Dance" & then "Born this way & Bad Romance" just ridiculous.... I called 4 of the 6 songs performed, wanted so much more, felt her warmth, admired her stamina & her voice throughout.....simply sensational, oh and one more thing, she did all that dancing wearing high heeled boots...,... such fabulous balance & body control, so amazing the energy she has in her 5'1" frame, and she wasn't even sweating...just so entertaining & so relentless in her steps......so much to admire about her..... "Hey Dad" Hi Mom" so awesome.... I simply adore her........ Loved Loved Loved this night, never to be forgotten..... ~Georgio

This is what I wrote before the night happened: The Day has arrived, big hugs for a special Sunday filled with fun food, cold drinks, warm hugs, NFL football & the delight of Gaga.. Worth Repeating....... I am so excited about Gaga's Super Bowl performance. I don't think there's anyone on the planet that is looking more forward to it, Back in 2007 I saw something special in Stefani Joanne Germanotta, a little Italian girl from NYC who had a dream of sharing her special gift. Then in 2008 'Just Dance' became a # 1 single, now 9 years later & numerous # 1's, Stefani has won numerous Grammy's, has numerous fabulous albums, countless performances everywhere in the world, she's appeared on every major entertainment and talk show, performed so sensationally at the Academy Awards ( Sound of Music) and then a 2nd time with "Til It Happens to You" , she's completed a world tour performing with 90 year old music legend Tony Bennett, which showed her extreme versatility, she will soon carry the lead actress role in the remake of "A Star is Born" a role as a singer where I feel she will win BEST Actor ( Save this)!! Last year Gaga performed the national anthem at the Super Bowl with a completely captivating performance & and now we all have the pleasure of taking in Super Bowl 51 with Lady Gaga's incredible voice & unmatched performing abilities in front of 300+ million people with the Super Bowl halftime show. Gotta Love Love Love it, All these years I have connected greatly with Gaga's music, the way she writes, and the warmth that exudes out of her, she's a fabulous musician too, and she has proven that she can perform at an extremely high level in any genre of music.. Truly a "Star's Star" Gaga has used her fame to help spread love to the world we live in, and you must admire that.... I have been blessed to see her twice, in a large venue & a small one, and both times her performances were as dynamic as can be, her voice so crystal clear with incredible range, even better than her studio recordings of her songs. Yes!! Now another 300 Million viewers can catch more of what she does so effortlessly, Yay!! I am predicting that her 13 minutes will cover some of at least 7 songs, 4 "Old school Gaga"songs thinking for certain "Bad Romance" & "Edge of Glory" & "Just Dance" or "Born this Way" perhaps "Marry the Night" and from her recent releases, "Perfect Illusion" "A-Yo" and of course the fabulous song "Million Reasons" I am hoping for a surprise from the Monster album too, well see, I'm also guessing that Tony Bennett will have a moment on stage as well, Gaga loves and respects him, & the collective dancing will be probably the best you have ever seen, you'll see. Gaga will mesmerize everybody watching..... Go Gaga Go!!! Tic Toc Tic Toc.... Love Love Love this... Peace to all, ~Georgio

-songs -choreography -lightsticks -outfits -breathing techniques -no lipsync -solo performance -keeps the audience alive -acrobatics And ofcourse, "no matter gay, straight or bi, lesbian, transgender life" on a straight sport event. Add all those up, you get a perfect performance that will be remembered for decades or maybe even centuries
