Most likely the difference is that Coldplay asked them to be there while JLo and Shakira were both contacted to do the show together. It may look like the same thing to an outsider, but it isn't. It's like saying that neither one of them was good enough to do the show alone.

For real! I watched them in Manila last month. Crazy how 8 years later they still bring the same good vibes, same festive energy, same magical feeling that I can’t even explain! Goose bumps all over again! I’d love to watch them live again on this lifetime!

The message Chris has at the start (we’re all in this together) and coldplays music was and is exactly what people need and needed to hear. It’s a shame the message got lost in “boring halftime show” because people are so focused on instant gratification. The motif at the end (believe in love) is perfect. This is the best halftime show I’ve ever witnessed. Music with meaning and connection.

Who’s watching again because of the quarantine? Coldplay+Bruno Mars+Beyoncé=Legendary!

Trouble is song about that problems and I love how simply he uses "spider web" in metaforic way to describe that feelings. But I can say that every song of their have some positive message in it. Even the saddest ones like Trouble, What If etc.

That's really not the way they're seen in the UK. The only way they seem to unite people is in how incredibly annoying and boring they've become. Obviously they have a lot of fans but anyone not a fan basically can't stand them anymore. Shame, as they started out with two very good albums.

Yea but it’s just not true. Tell that to someone who lives in Cape Town or Ecuador. I live in the UK and I am so blessed and safe not saying people haven’t died because I work in social care. But it makes a difference when you have better medical care. These are talented people but millionaires and if they went down They wouldn’t have to worry.

Kid Poker clocks is one of the greatest songs to ever grace my ears. That hypnotic melody from the piano mixed with the harmonies and vocals plus production. Such an amazing understated song. One of the greatest testaments to music of the 21st century and I’m glad you pointed it out.

@@m_q802 Yes and no. Joe Satriani started the lawsuit but it was settled outside of court. It was better off that way because there were other people like Cat Stevens who were trying to join in the lawsuit to possibly sue both of them. Also, musical lawsuits get messy since most normal jurys have no one on them that have ever written music so they don't know music theory.
