I totally agree.

One of my favorite Madonna singles. This was literally the blueprint for all the EDM tracks that became huge years later. Always ahead of the rest.

I disagree. There's no need to repeat herself and do a COADF 2.0. She already has this masterpiece in her collection. She should reinvent herself again, if anything. I'd want her to impress all of us with something different, something that she never did before.

Hard candy and confession on a dance floor

This is not only my favorite song from the "Confessions" album, but also one of my favorite Madonna songs ever. I've loved it since I first heard it ❤️. On the one hand, maybe it's underrated, but on the other hand, I think it's quite good that it wasn't a huge hit and played to death, because for me it's refreshing every time I hear it 😊. It's more something for the clubs, rather than the pop charts. Madonna sounds fantastic on it, it has a lovely melody and the arrangement is so fine. Although Madonna is always very involved when she makes records, I think Stuart Price is also worth mentioning because the production is so lush 👍. They didn't take the easy road, that's for sure. Those synths? It's like a ride through the heaven, and as a drummer, I'm also amazed about the percussive parts in it. I really appreciate the track.

Çağlar Barlas it's sad bc albums are dead now. The Industry is fueled by singles. Which is great until u r thirty. Madonna was a legend so she lasted till around 48 on lead singles from albums. If u don't get played on radio and they don't stream ur music, u aren't building ur fan base at all. It's sad for all artist now. These girls and women talking mad shit think it won't happen to them. It will. Most of these women people think have had long careers usually have three hit albums and fade away. Think Katie Perry, Gaga, and this last album of Taylor swift compared to her others was a failure. One radio hit is a failure for swift compared to the past. Taylor hit her late twenties. Men seem to grow fan bases after 25. But radio is absolutely not playing anyone over forty. Jlo gets a little. It's less WTH each song. Gwen I think made top twenty after a decade missing from charts. We always are nostalgic for the last phase of Madonna. Us older fans know that when she came out with Papa don't preach and like a prayer, there were thousands of fans saying how they missed the old album sounds and feels. We all miss the sound of when we fell for her. But she doesn't go back. We evolve with her or she leaves us behind.

I think that Madonna is a legend on her own and she knows that she has a solid fan base. I agree with you that she is not getting played enough on the radio and I also think that it is based on ageism. Because when you get to a certain age you from the radio stations perspective become less relevant in the music industry for the younger generation. Madonna was in a controversy in 2015 with the BBC radiostation, because she wanted to be played at BBC 1 with her single "Living For Love" but they said that she was to old for that, so they instead played the song on another of their radio stations where they play songs for people that a little older than the younger generation. I hope that she just makes good quality pop/dance music. She is a legend and she will always be an iconic figure in the music industry. She will always have big worldtours as people will pay very much to see her perform, but she needs to be played more on the radio. :)

I don’t really mind the video. But whether you’re dancing to this on the dance floor or listening to it with your AirPods/earphones you know this song takes you to a paradise. Such a blissful dance/electronic song one of my all time favorites by Madonna. Also this should’ve won the Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording but at least Confessions On A Dance Floor has a Grammy for best Dance/Electronic Album. 🎶❤️

A lot of people will be quick to say Madonna was only really relevant in the 80s and will undermine her 30+ year long career. She explored many sounds in her career but ultimately what she was most known for her dance orientated pop music. From 'Holiday' in 1983 all the way through to this underrated track from 'Confessions' in 2005, it's quality dance music that's timeless. So many female pop stars nowadays out do themselves or lose their authenticity by their 3rd or 4th album, Madonna is truly the only female pop star to really stand the test of time, especially when you look at what she achieved in TEN studio albums over the course of 20+ years.

@@ivomuzik Madonna makes dance-pop since her day 1. Long time before 2001 Fever, there's 1992 Deeper and Deeper single and video is Disco / dance and 1993 The Girlie Show Tour has a Disco segment. None of the Fever producers is in Confessions On A Dance Floor yet in 2010 Kylie Minogue called Stuart Price (long time colaborator and producer of Madonna since 2001) to Aphrodite.

Loved Confessions On A Dance Floor 💃🏻 Stuart Price’s production was brilliant and the way they mixed each track into the next like a DJ set was very clever. Sonically, the whole album just took you on a journey. Her last great album in my opinion. Madonna’s most recent albums haven’t resonated with me at all. I think she is brilliant when she does ballads and electronic dance music.

One of my favourite songs from Madonna. From an amazing album "Confessions on A Dance Floor". I remember being 10-11 years old when this song and album came out. I got it as a Christmas Gift and I played the album constantly and that was when I became a fan of Madonna. Madonna is an icon. :)
