Back in the day, this was massive in Mexico. Radio and music channels on TV used to play it all the time. One simply couldn't escape it. I was a teen at the time. After "Hung Up", this is how Madonna was introduced to a whole new generation.

h d she literally released a full album, that was nothing compared to the mainstream music from 2000’s. An album with influences do disco music, 70’s and 80’s, and it literally played all the time, and was iconic. In my country for exemple, all 4 singles from the album, were successful, but mainly Hung Up, Sorry and Jump, were playing all the time on MTV and at the radios. Once again, the queen of pop having another of many peaks in her career. 💘✨

It's impossible not coming back to these quite catchy songs from Madonna. They belong to a great music era and bring a lot of nostalgia. That's why people still listen them, while reminding a bit from those epic times into music world which many have been part of.

I remember I was like 5 and my mom would blast Madonna all the time and I grew up listening to her. To the point where we'd sing her songs together and dance around the living room and kitchen. Amazing woman.

You can say what you want about Madonna, the objective fact is that she made history. There is no other popstar today that lasted an entire lifetime, most of what you see today lasts a couple of years at least lol one hit wonders or memes and what not. We are decades away from seeing someone reach Madonnas level, thats of course IF someone lasts that long lol Which is near to impossible.

So many popular songs from mid to late 2000's aged horribly and sound outdated today. But this album could've been released today and it would still sound just as fresh and modern. The genius of this woman.

I really like the lyrics.of this song. So meaningful.
