Her stage presence is everything. What a Queen Of Pop performance. She doesnt even need to do too much yet she completely owns the stage. Very fitting she performed this at the Brit Awards, as the UK gave her the highest chart peak for the song, hitting #4 there. You are in for a treat with the setlist for the Celebration Tour ;)

The dress is Versace when Gianni was still alive and they were great friends. She did add campaigns around this time and a dress very similar to that she was photographed in for Vogue. Great performance. Love that you love it. Such an underrated Madonna song and yet it was so far ahead of its time. But that’s not surprising for any of her body of work.

Good evening Ladies, Bedtime Story is a real UFO! A truly incredible track and one of my favorites. You won't be disappointed at the Celebration, but chuuuuut... What a pleasure to see you visit Madonna's long journey. I love your intuitive reactions and observations to each video. I've been following your channel since the beginning. But I was curious and even a little...anxious to hear your reactions. I was afraid they'd be meaningless, like most of what's out there already. But it's just the opposite! Thank you so much! I relive and relive all those videos that rocked my childhood until today. I've loved M since I was 5 and I'm almost 44 now. A real fan, I used to record every M appearance on American TV shows (which used to spend the night in Belgium), then re-record them chronologically on VHS and translate them into French. Today, thanks to the Internet, I don't have to do that anymore lol! Thanks to your channel (which I follow impatiently) and having seen the Celebration Tour 2 times in Europe in the gold pit (front row or in the rows where it passes and stops), I still feel so transported by M. Her messages (the power of women, self-respect, the homosexual cause, art... ) her avant-gardism, her generosity, her impact on the world. Seeing your infatuation and your reactions, it rekindles mine even more and I feel myself, in a certain sense, finally understood in my infatuation for M. I don't want you to reach the end of this adventure any time soon! I'm intrigued Are you watching the Celebration Tour videos or are you forcing yourself not to watch until April? Regards xx

In order to have her hair floating like that she wore a very light wig. When she’s going to the press conference we can see how much it moves with little effort of her. The dress is by Versace and she wore it again 20 years later at the Met Gala after party. It was part of the collection she modelled for in 1995. Again, great reaction, your insights are very on point with what we all think 😊 and we can agree that yes, she managed to translate the video to the stage and managed to make something new at the same time 😊

For the stunning Versace photo sessions, she did two in one year actually, the 1st is my favourite - think 1960s Italian glamorous blond actress, in a Spanish mansion with just some dogs and a few babies... and for a snack some goldfish (not real, don't worry lol).... EDIT: and because she's still a little hungry a poisoned nectarine, which leaves her, coma-like, with her long hair tumbling down a beautiful stone curved staircase with her sequined gown cascading all around her hahahaha one of the best photographs ever taken of any person ever lol Steven Meisel was a genius at this point.

Amazing performance art by Madonna. It’s considered to be her most acclaimed live performance of Bedtime Story. This 1995 performance at this Brit Awards was her first ever at this show, and she wouldn’t perform again here until 20 years later in 2015. Some notable timeline info: she hadn’t released the official music video until March 10, 1995 when she performed this live version on February 20, 1995. Although the Bedtime Story studio album was released on October 25, 1994, the UK/Europe single of BS wasn’t released until February 13, 1995 using the popular dance club remix by DJ Junior Vasquez out of more than 12 BS remixes. It’s this Jr Vasquez remix that she performed at this Brit Awards. The BS single wasn’t released to the US/Canada using the album version until April 13, 1995. I think the effect of the powerful wind/smoke blowing through her flowing long blonde/white hair and medieval looking silver silk gown created a sensation that she’s floating in the sky amid the clouds like an ethereal/mystical being that matches the surreal narrative of the song. It also struck me that she appeared to evoke an image of a mythical Norse goddess coming down from the sky perhaps as a homage to Icelandic pop music icon, Björk who originally wrote Bedtime Story who was watching in the live audience during this performance. As usual, great insight and reaction ladies! Btw, that artwork behind Emily with an image of a girl with billowing orange hair looks surrealistic! ❤😅

An interesting anecdote on Madonna, her music, her career, her success and how ambivalent she was about fame and success by this point: while she flew from New York to London to attend and perform this piece of pop art, her 2nd single from "Bedtime Stories" -album, "Take A Bow", reached the number one spot on Billboard Hot 100 - and she didn´t have a clue :) She didn´t even know about it! She was focused on giving a perfect performance at the Brits. She only learned she reached number 1 for the 11th time afterwards. What I think this says about her, was that she was not and is not interested in awards or charts, as she had achieved it all already, during the first 10 years of her career! She reached and claimed the position where she didn´t have to worry about being famous or successfull on the charts. She got to do, and is still doing only what she feels is good and satisfies her as an artist. What a Lady. What a Queen. What a role model. What a Humanbeing

Hi Ladies! I'm late because I was watching my team, the Baltimore Ravens, lose their shot at another Superbowl title. (I blame Taylor Swift) 😂 On February 20 1995, Madonna performed Bedtime Story live for the first and only time at the Brit Awards. The performance was set to a remix of the song by Junior Vasquez. Madonna wore a white Versace dress and long hair extensions, an image similar to her 1995 Versace advertisement campaign spread. Madonna invited Björk to feature in the performance but Björk declined the offer, later stating: “I was supposed to get [Madonna’s] personal number and call her up, but it just didn’t feel right. I’d love to meet her accidentally, really drunk in a bar. It’s just all that formality that confuses me.” A tour was also planned, but did not take place due to Madonna acquiring the title role in the 1996 musical film Evita. Which is absolutely stunning. I watch it at least twice a year. It's amazingly directed. Madonna went through extensive vocal training. You can hear the change in her singing. Impeccable! If you haven't seen it I suggest it highly.(Because of that film I went to Buenos Aires for 14 days and visited Eva Peron's grave, the Cas Rosada, just every place that was in that film. It's a beautiful city. They call it the Paris of South America) (When Patti Lupone was asked about it on Watch What Happens Live.... Well let's say I no longer like her. She said a really cliche' bit*hy thing about Madonna. I was put off completely. Anyway, have a great weekend! And remember... Be Nice To People...even the evil ones. 👹

@@OurAnxiousReactions It's OK, it's just a game at the end if the day. I'm not a crazy sports fan that gets angry in the first quarter. Brenda? When you lived in Buenos Aires did you ever get the time or chance to go up to Iquazu National Park? Where the 250 waterfalls are and all the incredible free roaming animals, butterflies, toucans, etc.? I took a 4 day side trip up there. Wow! I've never seen anything like it. Absolutely stunning. (And I just have to note, in 2003 the exchange rate was about 3 pesos to the Dollar. So it was dirt cheap. I have never been anywhere in my life where everything I ate was the best food I ever ate. Even up in the delta, in the jungle, we found a little restaurant that has the most amazing food. There was a little river that ran right by and an Ice Cream Boat came by.... And we waved it down and hit homemade ice cream. It was so good. And I'm a tipper.. And they aren't used to that. So I felt good that I made so many people happy that I was giving them so much more money. Giving is so much better than receiving to me) media.tenor.com/uz7HDzbaZKQAAAAM/the-host-hands.gif

After this performance at the Brit Awards, Madonnina went to the press room where she was also made uncomfortable by questions that made fun of her because of the erotic period, so much so that she left the press room before she finished doing the interviews

Such a unique performance, so sci fi lord of the rings gadriel ...after this performance she had press question time , and there was this troll journalist , before internet trolls , who would go to events and ridicule celebrities. He was very crude and nasty to Madonna ,Sign of the times as it's not just celebrities now its anyone online with a post, video, KZread channel, Tik Tok , Instagram or X . Like a professional, she just walked off stage , blocked him . ❤😊 this is the way .

The video was cool but I would actually prefer watching this more than the video, I don’t find myself going back to watch the video very often rather than just listening to the song
