Long time Puddles fan.

I love how they put this together. Puddles slowly shrinks into himself in this song and the facial expressions he uses makes him seem childlike and insecure. Haley popping out gives a lot of expression to the idealization of suicide and how robust and intimidating everyday life would be to Puddle's character.

Puddles' restraint here almost makes it easy to miss his brilliant performance, but he's just letting Haley do her mesmerizing thing. I can't get enough of that voice of hers.

I can only say Puddles has given me great comfort! I thank him for that. Puddles, thank you, I can’t offer you anything but my sincere gratitude!

The way he pulls his volume back when she joins in, to allow her to shine... just amazing!!!

This is one of my favorite parts. Puddles is a great front singer, but he's also generous enough to let Haley take the spotlight and take over the mic. It makes the contrast between his smooth, silky tenor and her striking, smokier tones even stronger.

+SanaySK My thoughts exactly. All of my favorite songs on the channel are with Haley or Puddles. Having them both is awesome, though I think she outshined a little bit. It was cool to see him overcome his anxiety and get that close to another person, but he was still a little quiet, and aside from the first part he's barely audible against her voice.

Puddle is so and Haley work so well together. It give me shiver listening to them singing together....

Her singing takes me back to a time and place that I’ve never been.

Great talent but not for this song.

I am just hypnotized by Haley Reinhart. Her voice is amazing. Her mannerisms are so enchanting. I have watched this video like a hundred times. I think I was most surprised by how well their two voices melded together. With her high pitch you could easily lose a deeper tone, yet you can tell easily when they are both singing. Prolly my favorite rendition of this song.

I remember Tears for Fears bringing this out, brilliant song and band, love this version, compared to 1982 it really is a mad world...

Her voice has ranges from buttery smooth to brassy and abrasive in a matter of seconds. Classy!

This duet with Puddles and Haley, is one of my favorites.

This whole thing is Gold - Haley's voice, Puddles singing, the arrangement and staging, all of it, Gold. But Puddles eyes while Haley sings her solo part, that's 24 Carat right there. Guy's a genius.

This is one of the best collaborations Puddles has ever done I think. It shows how he can really work his voice very differently than his typical large grand sound that he’s known for wow wow wow both of them wow🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

She has a fantastic melodic voice and puddles is just that.... fantastic..... You two need to make a album

His facial expression when he's not singing are just so good. Even with his make up and conveys his sadness while she sings the song in a different upbeat feel and sound.

The nuance in Haley's vocal harmony is a kaleidoscope of unfolding joy. And of course, Puddles rocks.

Both did an amazing job!!! Haley is one of the best singers ever I love her music and Puddles is amazing himself! Together they blew this song out of the park!

Does Puddles have any idea how good they sound together? I mean, they each are amazing separate, but it is just great to hear them together, especially with this particular music genre.

Such a fun rendition. Puddles’ mannerisms are so touching while Haley is singing. His hands, his facial expressions…. so uncomfortable and awkward. Brilliant!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤

Wow... I have listened to so many versions of this sing over the past few months. It is good medicine which sometimes brings tears, somehow builds resolve, but this is the first time it has brought joy. Brilliant. I think in its own weird way it truly brings out the deep complex intent of the songwriter...

Very interesting take on this song. I like the dynamic between these two.

Since this was originally released, I’ve probably watched it 100 times, and never get tired of it. A truly spectacular performance.

Her voice is enchanting and then mixed with his make this song ever so perfect!

Yeah me too. This is where clowns should be. In a minor key with no fn’ smiley face. Next to an incredibly appealing female performer with a top hat and gorgeous voice.
