This is not a typical song. They are usually more Blues Rockers. This is an emotional song and really moving lyrics. I probably would not have suggested this as an intro to the band. They are very talented sisters and Larkin Poe is really Megan and Rebecca. By the way, the name comes from a great great grandfather and they are related of author Edgar Alan Poe.

Wow that's awesome! I'm actually a Poe fan. And yeah this was a strange first song (been checking out some of their other stuff) but this is what was requested.

I've been following these ladies for a few years, and this is one of their slower, more relaxed songs. Try Trouble in Mind for a better feel of their usual sound

Larkin Poe are Megan Lovell and Rebecca Lovell, they are the song writers. Both are really talented, Rebecca is they main vocalist but Megan is regarded as one of the best lap steel players presently around. Joe Bonamassa certainly rates her kzread.info/dash/bejne/eHyGtK-xe6_Kd8Y.html

I think I have seen every reactor who has done this song. Every one of them absolutely loved this. You're the only one I have seen who didn't like it. Music is all a matter of opinion so to each his own. Just curious as to what you like listening to.

I listen to everything - and I never said I didn't like it. I said it wasn't interesting to me MUSICALLY. Big difference.

Swing and a miss. They are sisters. They face each other and communicate non-verbally on stage a lot. Sorry but I think you entered this reaction with a bad attitude. You are the first I've ever seen who was not blown away by this performance. Maybe you ought to tell Pink Floyd that protracted intros or outros suck.

The problem with your comment is that you don't know what a reaction video is. It's THAT PERSON'S genuine reaction to what they just saw / heard / felt. You're the type of person who doesn't have your own opinion. Your mindset is: everybody else likes it so if you don't like it you're wrong. I've been a musician since I could stand and have the miles / music to prove my experience. That doesn't make me "right," but you can't discredit my opinion based on an "attitude." Learn what a reaction video is then try again (talk about a "swing and a miss..") #clown

The only positive thing about the song is the singer, she has a good voice, otherwise the whole thing doesn't give me much, if the song would run on the radio, I would change the station after pretty quickly

That's where you're wrong Gail.. I gave him a mountain of credit for his abilities as a pianist based on this one song alone - my analysis doesn't come from being some random spectator - I've been a musician AND producer for most of my life. You don't have to LIKE my opinion, but what you don't understand is that we all feel music differently. I understand this song more than most - it just didn't check all the boxes I normally look for in a track that pleases me personally. You're one of these typical people on this platform who can't respect another person's opinion. If you want to watch people just clap and smile and "love" everything they listen to, go watch literally any other reaction channel. But don't come over here talking about "lacking abilities" when you don't know the blood, sweat and tears I've put into music.
