Yeah it goes very well. My mate owns that one. It’s an 88. 16 speed Volvo box with 38 rockwells. It’s 98% rust free which is unusual. I also have a slimline g88 and it’s fairly tidy as well. She’s had the rust cut out and now needs assembly. If the channel grows enough I may do a bit to it for content. I have an 89 aswell and it’s completely rusted out. There are 4 old Volvo trucks here

@stevesplacedownunder

I’m not sure. I like them all. The white 4000 is good to drive. Not a lot of horses but still good. I really like the slimline/daycab transtar to but she’s not going yet. I’d really like to do this full time so I could drag some up out of the bush and do some restoration jobs on them but I’m a long way off that unfortunately. I only get one day a week to play really

If reverse is on the compound side of the transmission and not in the main box, that is probably an extended range transmission and not a dualplex. Low is only used in first gear, then you shift the main box only.
@stevesplacedownunder

Yes that’s right. I do correct this further into the video. The compound stick only has low and direct I think.

Hi Steven. The Steel bonnet one does mate, and the red plastic Mack did have but been converted to electric.
