I need that 40kHz air gain knob for my dog

I've tried a new sound signature graph for graphic equalizer, which I call Diagonal Signature Graph. Here is an example: 31hz -9db 63hz -8db 125hz -7db 250hz -6db 500hz -5db 1khz -4db 2khz -3db 4khz -2db 8khz -1db 16khz 0db It is also possible to reverse the order, so that it goes down from 31hz to 16khz. I found a eq settings very similar to flat. Here it is: 31hz +6db 63hz -6db 125hz +3db 250hz -3db 500hz 0db 1khz 0db 2khz -3db 4khz +3db 8khz -6db 16khz +6db Thanks! I like your video.

you uncover a cool secret.😊maag is the secret shot. try to drive the maag with the Air band into the deesser as well. this EQ is superior.

I’d rather de ess before. Control the sibilance so you can safely boost highs without increasing the sibilance

I’ve been using that plug-in for very long time using the air band of course but I did not know about reducing the other bands. That’s super cool thank you so much for that thatinformation I’m going to try it.

Dom, what do you mean by "arrow" bands? Do you mean when increasing air band you have to decrease ALL other bands? And that applies to any band? Thanks

Great video but the thing that i don't understand is WHY we "had to" do it, or maybe just that the sound is cool like that ?

The reason why it's advised to do it is that this way you can take advantage of the bands interaceion (thus creating some unique curves) and you do proper gain stagin with this EQ. You don't "have" to do it, but doing it right will give you optimum results. The MaagEQ4 is a special EQ, the bands are super broad so this technique is what makes this EQ golden :)
