Ma Long became the fifth player to complete a career Grand Slam (winning the Olympics, World Championships, and World Cup), joining Jan-Ove Waldner and Liu Guoliang, Kong Linghui, and Zhang Jike. Additionally, he became the first male player (and second overall) in the world to have won every singles title in table tennis. These records have led many to consider him to be the greatest player of all time.

Ma Long is the GOAT. NO debate
Ma Long is my favourite Chinese champion. I have started competitive table tennis playing only 2 years back at the age of 63 years. Many Thanks for this documentary, it is very motivating to be the World Champion, after seven months of injury and non playing.

I think I may be Zhang Jike's biggest fan, but even i can't ignore the greatness of Ma Long. If he does the double in Tokyo, there will be no doubt he is G.O.A.T ...Unless Fan Zhendong does it 3 times :)

@@gr637 It doesnt make my opinion most right but as you know many consider Ma Long the greatest now. He has been the most succesful player of all time while J. O had a far worse head-to-head record against players.

In 2017 Fan Zendong should have beat Ma Long, but overall he gets it. I think JOW and JJK are the only alternatives.

Harimoto definitely is a young strong talent. The test is whether he can consistently win championships throughout his career. He is a confirmed best yeller....

Yes he’s won the most and he’s the greatest of all time in all aspects of table tennis. Doesn’t matter if JO wins the title of the Mozart ML wins the title of GOAT and by a mile
