With all due respect to all the great legends of the game, no one really comes close to Ma Long in attacking. He's just a machine firing bullets non stop and at will and with such unmatched accuracy.

Considered to the "perfect" player. Can hit the big shots in key plays, but can also finesse opponents to set up subsequent power shots. His placement of the ball is also uncanny.

I agree with you. An exceptional forehand flick. His footwork whilst it is also just incredible. Not only that he gets there fast enough to play a forehand flick onto a short ball coming into his backhand, but if you look closely you can see how he shifts his legs while jumping to produce power during the shot. That' some serious coordination only a few are able to archieve. Absolutely magnificent.

Excellent choice of clips. Does this great player a well deserved justice. As a huge fan and player of this unique sport i wonder if we will ever see another all round player like Ma Long. He is truly blessed!

I mean the level of play is absolutly crazy. But what´s ever more mindblowing imo, is that he is leading in almost every single clip of this video. Insane stuff. He really is the GOAT of tabletennis.

Ma Long is not only the best for a while, but is also the most exciting and entertaining too watch!

David Stockman Wrong. Wang Hao consistently beat Ma Long at his best in major tournaments. Players may have gotten stronger and more mechanical, bt it doesn't necessarily make them better.

Wang Hao and Ma Long are 2 of the best of their styles maybe even THE best of their styles. Who is better than the other doesn't matter. They played in mostly different times. They're both amazing to watch.

To this day I still don't get how he has a better win percentage against Zhang Jike , Ma Lin but have difficulty against Wang Hao... but Wang Hao have difficulty against Zhang and Ma Lin... same case for Wang Liqin .. Wang Liqn > Ma Lin > Wang Hao > Wang Liqin full circle ... probably the style

When Wang Hao was playing Ma Long wasn't as good as nowadays. I think prime Ma Long beats prime Wang Hao more often than the actual percentage indicates.

Christian Adrian Aniceta ML still has a huge advantage in head to head against WH. It's just WH has the best head to head against ML. Zhang Jike is very uncomfortable against speed, which ML had a lot, ML is also extremely consistent.

Many reasons- 1. Most of the matches Wang Hao won were during ma long's early career. he was too young back then 2. Ma Long used to lose in big competitions like WTTC to wang hao solely because of the pressure. He was not good at handling stress at that time. 3. If you include ALL official matches (including chinese tournaments), ma Long has a better head to head record against wang hao also.
