Thanks for highlighting this. The roads in North London are extremely poor at the moment and getting worse! I've nearly come a cropper on numerous occasions. Last year I hit a pothole in Barnet and it blew one of my fork seals! The councils wont do anything until someone is seriously hurt or worse.

There are pot holes both sides of the motorway through tge whole of the road work section. It's an accident waiting to happen and some of the pot holes have been there since the road works started! I try and stay in lane 3 as it's the only lane without the massive pot holes!

This needs reporting, it could save a bikers life. As usual, bikers are often ignored when it comes to road surface.

After the first batch of potholes I would have moved to lane 3 imho

The M11 northbound from London is in a real state.

It’s the same North bound in that area also. It’s downright dangerous for bikers

It seems Nigel that when thier are road works taking place the highways agency have no interest on the quality of the surface

This is the pothole that killed my car tyre and caused me to finish my journey on the back of breakdown truck just over 4 weeks ago. Is the date stamp correct on your video (30th January)? Because if so this would be very useful evidence when trying to claim the cost of the tyre back from the Highways Agency. They should have fixed this long before mid April!! Any chance you could send me a copy please?

In fact that can't be the right date...... that's an 18 plate Audi on the right so has to be no earlier than March.

Thank you yes, that was 5 days earlier than when it got me. It was bad enough on 4 wheels so for those of you on 2 it could be lethal!!! I reported it that evening sat in Keele services whilst waiting to be rescued but I doubt they've done anything about it yet. Hopefully they'll give me my £200 back for a new tyre though, there's simply no excuse for a motorway to be like that - especially when it's in a section of road works!

This is Horrible! Never relax never get to comfortable. If possible now your roads and highways. ( I use wazes) it helps

That's a shit piece of motorway. After all those patches the natural reaction is to move right ... INTO A LINE OF POTHOLES !!!!. Hope your bike is ok Nigel!
