It has been awhile, been very busy with other things.. Nice to get out and get back to the old school way of coaching. The rider in front had no comms, so it was back to observe, stop and debrief !
Had the GOPro running connected to my helmet via Sena Bluetooth.
He will get a copy on a USB stick later.....

Good to see a new video from you again. I love the colour scheme on that Yamaha. Very classic. Interesting combination of signs and road paint at 6:12 with entry signs for an NSL and SLOW painted on the road. Would have been good to hear debrief. My feedback: The overtake at 8:16 ... what if something had come round that corner? Also the rider really does hang on to the white line, even clipping the solid several times. Sacrifice position for safety when there is oncoming traffic. I winced as he brushed past those artics. Very surprised to see a 'suicide lane' still in existence that hasn't been painted over with cross hatches.

Another great video Nigel . Despite my only few years as a full licence rider i am a heavy driver some 10 years . With ppls distraction of mobile phones n just general lazy ness of road position the idea of positioning my bike near the centre line on any corner seems highly dangerous with on coming traffic just my opinion

Yeah this is a major issue I have with the Roadcraft technique of positioning for a bend. A lot of drivers are incompetent and don't maintain lane discipline on bends, which means that when you're taking a left-hander and have positioned like the student has (unnecessarily given that it's a dry day with good traction and he isn't doing 100mph) in this video, there's about a 30% chance that an oncoming driver will be in your lane. There are lots of problems with Roadcraft and that's just one of them.
