M2 Browning: the World War I Machine Gun Still in Service Today
The M2 heavy machine gun, created by John Browning, is one of the most significant and oldest weapons in the US military's inventory. For 97 years, it has been used to equip infantrymen, armored crew members, sailors, bomber crews, and fighter pilots. Since World War I, the M2 has operated in every major conflict, and it appears that it will continue to do so for at least 25 years. The M2 machine gun is a rare example of a weapon so well designed that it can always find use on a modern battlefield.

Man I miss the MA Deuce!!!!
The M2 Browning kicks ass!
The title screen picture says it all. Look at the gunners smile, the Ma Deuce has a Smiles Per Minute that is correlated to its Rounds Per Minute. I just saw a Ukrainian soldier firing a M2 on a 113 with that same SPM
The .30-06 was not designed as an anti tank round.
