A lamination like that requires clamps for good, tight joints.

It looks great I bet it will be really beautiful when done. Will you put something between the wood and metal? It seems a hard material would transmit vibration to your feet. Just curious. I do envy all the fun projects you get to do. There’s an old Navion at my airport I’d love to restore but no room in the budget for that!. Keep the videos coming.

Thanks Creek! I'm going to screw them down tight with brass screws. I got the idea from a supercub I used to fly in AK. The wood should absorb most of the vibration. Thanks for watching!
