An even lazier option, just sprinkle a little water directly on the rice before microwaving. If your rice is really dry I’d add water and mix it. I promise it’s the same too. I’ve become very lazy as an adult 😂

Great tip! I do something similar, I pour a bit of water (no too much) over my cold rice and reheat in the microwave. The rice comes out soft, and not dry or hard at all from reheating. Enjoy this additional tip 😊!

If your rice isn’t too dehydrated already, just flip a plate over the bowl to cover it completely and microwave the rice for 1:30-2 min. It should resteam itself pretty well :)

An even lazier option, just sprinkle a little water directly on the rice before microwaving. If your rice is really dry I’d add water and mix it. I promise it’s the same too. I’ve become very lazy as an adult 😂

Great tip! I do something similar, I pour a bit of water (no too much) over my cold rice and reheat in the microwave. The rice comes out soft, and not dry or hard at all from reheating. Enjoy this additional tip 😊!

Wrap and freeze the rice in portions while it's hot. Perfect rice every time. Don't put it in the fridge unless it's for fried rice.

@@gemstar7286 Leftover rice can lose moisture and get hard in the fridge, so I think the ice is to add back in that moisture. I usually just put a little bit of water in mine before warming it up again

If your rice isn’t too dehydrated already, just flip a plate over the bowl to cover it completely and microwave the rice for 1:30-2 min. It should resteam itself pretty well :)
