My girlfriend and I were blessed enough to be in attendance for this performance. After getting the crowd's attention with his blistering rendition of his own "Find Yourself", he had us all mesmerized with his beautiful versions of Kristofferson's "Please Don't Tell Me How the Story Ends" and his dad's "Angel Flying Too Close to the Ground". I felt that Lukas absolutely stole the show and the buzz afterwards from everyone filing out of the Opry that night confirmed that I wasn't the only one. I hope more people get a chance to discover him and hear what an amazing talent he is.

Yes - he sounds like his Dad …. However Lukas’s vocal range is phenomenal and goes to places that are well advanced of his legend Father

Lukas amazes me every single time. He is so incredibly talented. I've said it before, but it's just awesome how he can make any song, no matter who sang it before, ALL his own. Kudos Lukas, and the whole awesomely talented Nelson family!

Lukas Nelson has a really, amazing and beautiful voice! He reminds me of his dad but his voice is just outstanding,& it definitely defines him! But I swear,he's definitely a young version of his dad.! He's definitely got his own uniqueness that makes him incredible!

He sounds like his daddy ! What a talent and pretty good looking too , dads got to be so proud and then some ! Could listen to this young man 24 / 7 !!!! Just beautiful !

My wife and friends went to see Lukas and the Real Promise in Pittsburgh a few months ago - simply put - one of the best shows I’ve ever seen. And I’ve seen a ton of music- 50 dead shows, 100+ Widespread panic shows, phish, Stones, Floyd, Van Morrison, ABB, 50 + Pearl Jam …. Billy strings, etc ….. Lukas and his band were in my top ten shows ever

Depending on the songs he sings Lukas sounds just like his father. It’s nice to know that Willy’s legacy in country music will continue with his children long after he’s gone.

He’s a looker with a really good voice!

Lukas has been playing guitar since he was 10 or 11, according to what he said in a video on KZread. It was Willie’s birthday and Lukas asked his dad what he would like for his birthday…Willie said-You know what would really make me happy is if you learned to play guitar. And that night, Willie taught Lukas to play Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain.

I love that story and Blue Crying in the Rain is one of my favorites. He killed me in Portland when he played Angel Flying Too Close to the Ground followed by Smile. My world hasn't been the same since I heard him play Smile in Boulder June 16, 2021. It's gone a bit Crazy.

I'm 62 years old and I so enjoy our classic generation. Willie Chris Neil Young Dire Straits all the Blues.! Our generation is moving closer Willie's age. Lucas makes the heart feel warm and secure. Did the music real go on and it seems to be improving. Lucas is badass!

Honestly this was such a moving performance. Angel Flying To Close to the Ground hit me so hard as we lost our son unexpectedly from Fentanyl poisoning at the age of 34.
