Absolutely unbelievable. So refreshing hearing songs that actually have meaning. As a songwriter I get so sick of hearing the same songs all the time that lyrically are saying nothing. It's actually hard these days to get people to like a song with meaning. It's almost like they don't want to think. I love these guys!!!!

He's great but his style sounds like his daddy with Hank Jr., Johnny Cash, his singing also sounds like Van Morrison and I heard Allman Bros, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Little Feat and even a little Stevie Ray ! It's a great sound to have and I love it ! 😎👍❤

He calls it Cosmic Country Soul. He pulls from his Dad/Uncle influence hat of George Harrison/Beatles, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, Jimi Hendrix, Neil Young, Johnny Cash, Kris Kristofferson, B.B. King, and of course Willie. While he wasn't as close to George or Tom as the rest, he is friends with Dhani and Adria.

LUV LUKAS and the BAND! Lukas' voice has Willie's twang ... but with honey & bourbon dripping all over it ... so smooth. Lukas is absolutely my favorite country/western singer of all time.

Ain't gonna die alone always a nice goal.

Talent like this comes through the gene pool and it's good to see this son is doing his own thing. He is so versatile. Rock on.

A couple of years ago Neil Young came to town and POTR was his back up touring band so glad I got to see them, Lukas is filling some very large shoes and doing it with class and an astounding amount of talent!!

I got to see him in Sacramento in a small farm to fork concert! I was was in aaaww of how much his sounded like his dad but also had his own thing! I truly enjoyed it and hope to see him live again!

This whole set is beyond amazing! Right between history being made with marijuana legalization in California, this is like 60s coming back again and Lukas killing it like it's Woodstock everyday, nothing makes you move like rocknroll does, cheers everybody. Its celebration time for real. And the gentleman on the lap steel is killing !!!!

Are you KIDDING!!! Where did you grow up? I'm not big on putting any musician down..so yes he's learned his craft. And there are thousands of people out there that do what he does. And MANY much better...if he wasn't a "NELSON" HE WOULDN'T BE ON THIS STAGE.....SORRY P.S. Yes you can have God given talent and he has more than most but it the work you put into to hone it. He talks about eating and breathing music after he learned guitar. Even today if he's not smoking weed, golfing, surfing, or sleeping, he doing something musical even today.

I love this band!!!! Promise of the Real, all of you, and of course Lukas!! This band I could listen and watch all day and night! They can rock so hard, and then the next is dreamy!

Love this more and more and discover fresh meaning and depth with each playing. I think this is a test of lasting Art. Thank you Lukas

Hearing The Beatles I Want You So Bad guitar riff at 20:55 right in the middle of the guitar jam for “Four Letter Word” was such a great treat; If only he'd stretched it out a little longer! Lukas Nelson opened the Nelson Family Concert at the Celebrity Theater in Phoenix this past January with an impressively searing acoustic version of Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers Breakdown that made me mourn Tom's passing all over again. Not only was it a great show but when it was over Micah Nelson traded his "lucky" black baseball cap for my husband’s Indian Motorcycles cap! Wherever you are Micah I hope it's bringing you good fortune! What a talented (and kind) pair of brothers!

The show in PGH was most excellent and if you search there are a few video's from it on youtube. I just wish it would have been the entire set.

WOW! WHAT A FANTASTIC CONCERT!!! EVERYDAY I LISTEN TO LUKAS NELSON AND POTR PLAY & THEY ALWAYS MAKE MY DAY!!! I LOVE THE TRIBE!

Since I was so hard on Lucas in that 2010 FarmAid video I figured I'd listen to something more current. While he is still not, and will never be a SRV or Jimi as people in the comments of the old video were saying, this was an enjoyable set to watch.

@@slimjim7873 Great, can't argue over something subjective like who thinks one guy is cooler than another guy. The original discussion in the other video(FarmAid 2010) was whether Lukas was as accomplished a guitar player as those other guys. In my opinion he was an embarrassment to his bandmates in the FarmAid video. He was absolutely horrible but people were commenting how great he was and how he is the new Jimi Hendrix or Stevie Ray Vaughn. He is not even in the same universe when it comes to guitar playing or song writing as those guys. That doesn't mean Lukas can't be entertaining, but guys like Jimi or SRV come along very rarely and leave an impact on music forever after they're gone. Lukas plays mostly cover songs and a few of his originals are decent. He is a more competent guitar player now than in the FarmAid 2010 video but will never be mentioned as a guitar great as the other two guys certainly were. Lukas is just not that caliber of player. Doesn't mean you can't like him and his music more than those two other guys, that's your perogative. But saying Lukas is as good a guitar player or songwriter as those two other guys is just absurd. His technical ability, his tone, his feel, etc. on guitar is not even in the same universe, as I said before. It's like comparing a house painter to Michaelangelo.

I lost my sister in the 1st wave of covid. She was living in Fort mills NY. When I was driving to her place to recover her ashes, NY state was closed. So I had too turn around and head back west without her. Thank you for that tribute.

When I was a little girl I lived in a neighborhood that was new. I remember all the parents looked out for all of us kids. When my dad decided the grass was greener everywhere but home,the neighbors still looked out for me. I’m old now and still Reiner and feel,the love shown to me. Didn’t watch much news back then.
