Agreed. Lugia might not be the strongest legendary compared to later legendary pokemon like Palkia or Dialga, but he's still my number 1 favorite pokemon, legendary or otherwise. Not sure if you're playing pokemon go as well, but I got 2 Lugia at the moment and they are awesome.

Whenever I listen to this melody I wish to go back to the old days when I watched Pokemon for the first time

Music is quite an emotional art and has even medically proven to us that it has helped those who have even been paralyzed to be able to tap to a beat or something of that nature. Either way, HollowRiku, you have a gift and I absolutely commend you for all the hard work you've put into this. I've also looked into your other videos such as the Lavender Town and Cerulean City videos, and my goodness do you ever have a way with the piano. You're amazing, my compadre. You really are.

I can never think about Lugia without this song playing in my head

Indeed, as a kid I thought this piece was beautiful and I still do, it's really magical!

Pokemon silver being the first game i ever played all the way through, this song and lugia itself hold a special place in my heart. Any time I play it or the remake I always feel nostalgic. Watching the movie not long after my first playthrough was a pleasure. Left a permanent impact on 8 year old me. I'll never forget just sitting there, playing my gameboy i got second hand from my older cousin that year. And looking at the screen while fighting lance, and who else did I have out but lugia, right as He appeared in the movie.

brought me to tears, thank you! this is my all time favourite Pokemon track. Just hit me with nostalgia hard! I was 9/10 when this movie came out and Lugia's song has never left me all those years. I also always thought it was done by an ocarina like in the movie, but its really obvious now that it was always a flute!

considering that pokemon was supposed to end after the release of Gold/Silver/Crystal this movie felt like an excellent way to tie it all together in a pretty bow.
