The rise of Darkrai is without a doubt the best Sinnoh region movie. This theme always struck my heart and soul. It has an almost haunting, lost love and nostalgic tone to it that went well alongside the story. I haven't watched it for a long time, but this piece of music always makes me tear up when i hear it. Thanks for the great rendition!

I mean, all of the Sinnoh Movies are great IMO, I definitely couldn’t pick between them. But Oracion is definitely one of the most beautiful scores to come out of Pokemon media, right up there with “Tears of Life” and “Lugia’s Theme”…

Reading that quote while listening gave me chills. Pokémon has so much to teach us about loving eachother, how everyone has a place in this world, and deserves love and a chance to be themselves. That’s what this song speaks to me anyways. I haven’t seen the movie in ages, but I do remember that scene.

@@ZoeyAlexandria back when i wrote this my life was pretty much at the lowest point for me, having lost my girlfriend who isnt here anymore and having no one else left. I kept coming back to this cover though. A lot of times. Last year (2021) i finally came to terms to who i am and how to accept myself, since i managed that, i found my place, my friends who are now family and who accept me for who i am. This cover and pokemon, as childish as it sounds, will always remind me of this journey from the lowest to my highest point yet, right now, in my life. Im so thankful for music and stories like these.

If this song can calm down legendary pokemon in their heaviest of battles it sure can melt my heart in 1 sec

remakes when We got the Alolan cast back in the newest anime, and they brought Korrina back in an even earlier episode (she's the gym leader in X and Y with the mega Lucario) so who knows, they may start bringing old companions back too. Maybe Dawn will come back when Gen 4 remakes come XD

That was my first Pokemon movie when i was 8 and I tried to piano cover it on my own. But the way you play this cover of L. Gottfried - wow. Worth 50 subs

I've always imagined this song as a love letter from a time before writing existed. Something so emotional it describes an unending and tender love that's so powerful it breaks down the tallest towers, even time. Maybe that's why all the Pokemon are so soothed by it. It's a prayer for that love to live in all of us.

this movie will always and forever hold a piece of my heart this is the song i listened to when my maternal grandmother passed away, we always used to watch this movie. she never really understood Pokémon, but she knew that croagunk, buneary and pachirisu were my favorite 💛 thank you so much for doing this cover, its beautiful

It's grazy how this melody was made for a Pokemon movie. This song always throws me back to my first time watching this special movie. For me Rise of Darkrai is and will always be the best Pokemon Movie in the whole series.

I would like to hear it in the Reunion party of all of my friends who watched this movie with me years ago. To remember those golden days of childhood life with those who've lost it somewhere in the past like me. It didn't just calmed Dialga & Palkia & healed Palkia's crystal but also healed my wounds of time & calmed my soul. With regrets to lose those good old days & tears in my eyes, ORACION LIVES FOREVER....

Ow I really appreciate that you felt that "cleanliness" haha, I try not to play over-complicated arrangements so I can focus on playing every note and every sentence the way I want it to sound~ Many people think you can play the piano if you can play the right note, but there's so much more than that~ (And I think messily hitting the keys at a very fast speed is very overrated :P)

This shows how powerful and amazing the piano really is as an instrument.

Hands down my favourite pokemon movie, this song and its relationship is one of the leading reasons

I was having a bad anxiety attack and came across this just in time. Immediately I've relaxed. This song is so beautiful next to Lugia's song.

This piece of music has the power to calm down any mind however bad the mood is. I can never get bored of this music and it gives me relief. Thank you Pokemon for this masterpiece. I feel cartoon songs and music are far better than Hollywood. Quite sure that the 17 dislikes are from deaf people or they envy they can't recreate such good music

Haha thank you Gabe! I feel some pauses are needed to mantain the tension, some have complained that the tempo here is not too stable, but I feel a fixed tempo doesn't work for this kind of piano pieces :P Glad you've enjoyed it!

Moisés Nieto very. I find that I enjoy pieces that to a normal ear, sound normal, but only people who really like Pokemon will understand it. If you don’t tell anyone it’s Pokemon, they won’t know and it’s still enjoyable for all. I love pieces like that with a hidden meaning to those who know it. If that makes any sense x
