I find it really sad how dumb some people when saying Kaido should have stopped his swing. Did you not see the power behind that attack? Dude lifted himself off the ground when he smashed into Luffy with so much force. CP0 appeared right at the end and that slow mo was like a split second. You can't just stop an attack of that force at the last second

I like the idea that drunk kaido is just him gaining random buff/debuff every turn on RPG game Bloodthirsty drunk is just his best random buff

I was about to remark on the lack of a smoke cloud around Kaido, but they do actually have him with cloud-like eyebrows which is the same as the next awakening we’ll see. Awakenings just aren’t on anime watchers’ radars right now, the Gorosei will have a chat about the idea right before Luffy wakes up.
