Sun God Nikka "The warrior of Liberation" who heard prayers from the oppressed is a really beautifull way to see how they trust in luffy

I like how they removed all the colour in the majority of the Wano flashback to showcase just how dark it is. I may be reading too much into it, but I think it was done that way to symbolize the long night that Toki and some of the samurai spoke of and the final clash between Luffy and Kaido was so bright in order to symbolize Wano’s dawn.

Orochi and Big Mom both provided great dichotomies as villains to compliment Kaido. It's good that people hated Orochi as much as they did. I guess some peopel don't understand the whole legend behind the Orochi of having eight lives, one for each head, hence why he's lived for so long. It matched his entire character so well. he's an ever persistent reminder of the Kozuki's previous wrongdoings, only forgotten after they too had gone through extreme hardship. The cycle of hate has ended, as one side (the Kurozumi) went WAY too far.

An Orochi has 8 heads/lives, hence Orochi literally having 8 lives with his devil fruit. This episode was beautiful. Shame to see that guy in the upper right with the glasses complaining instead of really just taking in and digesting the direction, art, themes, and impact of the episode. I realize he's a manga reader, but come on, this episode was the culmination of the hopes and history of Wano before the grand finale. This was perfect, and that's coming from a manga reader.

It’s quite easy to say now that one piece and Naruto are peak writing in anime. I never gave OP a chance becus I was a die hard naruto fan. Only until 2018-19 I decided to watch it. And I never thought that there would be another anime that’s atheistic and story would be as emotionally captivating as Naruto until recently. watching OP has been quite the journey bro. This scene when Denjiro chopped his head off and was just stone cold wit the music coming in. Shit hit different. Db is a pioneer and bleach is cool but One piece and Naruto r truly the greatest there is. 👌🏾✍🏾

Theres something about these long shows that short anime cant produce. The emotions I had watching this episode surpassed almost 90% of shit I watched.

I hate to say this but i think every finishing move will not be the same before they enter the New World, where Luffy beat the shit out of enemy with his punches or pummel them with his giant kick or slam them to the ground, it will be contactless now cuz he is now imbuing his attacks with Conqueror Haki. Because whoever Haki the strongest win and the ending will be the same as Doffy and Kaido final fight, unless Luffy deflected their Haki and barrage them with punches and kicks or Oda decided to combine Gomu Gomu attack-enhanced Haki for Luffy to defeat his enemy.

If you read chapter 1048, this is exactly how it happened. No filler scenes this time. It was lame in the manga too. Couldn’t believe they cut away from the ultimate clash for a flashback of what we already knew.

@@Doffy11232 theres no repeating flashbacks this episode. its literally following the manga. Hell it enhanced it. I am a manga reader since dressrosa days. I felt nothing towards the wano citizens in the manga while the adaptation for it this episode had me in tears. Yall just want action so bad u forgot what Wano is all about in the first place. The anime this time literally fixed the manga's big flaw of the wano ending, complaining for nth
