In defense of Ludwig/mogulMail(not that he needs it), I think most of the time, despite reporting on some 'drama' Lud always uses the situation as an example to explain some point or specific opinion that he personally has on the topic. I don't watch him because he talks about dramatic topics, I watch him because I want to hear his opinion/philosophies specifically about whatever topic. Basically the difference between drama and opinion/journalism is intent, and that intent is communicated as well as it can be to a stranger on the internet imo.

Ludwig's credit limit is wayyyy too low. You should have your income listed on your credit card account and they either update your credit limit automatically when you change it, or you can request a credit limit increase. You can request an increase around every 6 months if they don't give you the amount you want right away. Also it's a good idea to have multiple credit cards so you can keep your credit utilization low. But opening a new credit card makes a small temporary hit on your credit score so you shouldn't do it when you think you may need to show your credit score (ex signing a lease, opening a loan, etc)

@@markvieyra9950 yep from the company's perspective giving you a higher balance could earn them more in interest fees but if you treat it like a debit card and pay off your balance in full every month it's great for your credit and you earn points/miles/cash back/etc. I have a $20k limit between my two cards and I never hit 30% utilization let alone go over

On the Jason R stuff... if the truth is that his wife is the one pressuring him to stay away from ALL WOMEN online, and he doesn't feel good about it, he should really consider getting out of that relationship. At the same time, he's obviously consciously contributing to the sexism of the situation unnecessarily. The vagueness around him being a "bad person to her" raises some alarm bells for me... I've been in an emotionally abusive relationship where actions I took that were completely normal and reasonable to me, and to any other partner I've had before or since, were blown way out of proportion and treated like I was trying to hurt her. She convinced me that that me just being me was being a bad person, when in reality we just weren't right for each other. The language in the Jason R situation feels very similar to mine, including my partner cutting me off from the other women in my life, which were many of my best friends at the time. Abuse sucks and makes you act like an insane person when you really know better. You just feel trapped, like the only way out is appeasing the person hurting you, even if it's toxic to everyone else. I know nothing about Jason's relationship with his wife (or anything about Jason himself) but seeing the discourse just has me thinking about how similar it is to what I went through. Idk. Obviously this isn't a "women amirite" post, anybody can be abusive in this way. If anybody sees this and is feeling trapped or like they can't be themselves in a relationship without facing retaliation from their partner, I hope you can get out safely and on your own terms.

I personally don't like drama channels, but I do appreciate that ludwig seems to only make videos when he feels like there is some injustice that deserves attention. for example, the poki vs jidion thing felt like lud actually brought attention to why jidion was wrong, and he actually had a positive effect on that situation. I wouldn't like it if lud started just covering drama for the sake of getting clicks, but I think it's fine if he has personal feelings on a topic (like the radstads thing from a little while ago) and wants to bring attention to it.
