This video is amazing. It is nice to show that both women were hurt by the same man.Has Allesandra Mastornadi only these scenes in season 3? She's very good actress. Lorenzo (tv show´s of course) hurt many people but i am still not over how he hurt Giuliano. Actually I will miss Giuliano in season 3 a lot. Season 3 looks so good and Lorenzo looks just Magnificent!

SO That's the story. Lorenzo's marriage was a politically arranged affair. I didn't know that important piece of info. Those days everything the MEdici did was politically motivated. Still is done in this century. Royalty married royalty. With few exceptions.

If you’re looking at actual history, Lorenzo didn’t have an affair at all. He deeply loved Clarice and described himself in a letter as “lost” after her death. The affair was put in for drama but if you’re interested in the Medici history, they are wonderful to research :)

No, her name was Lucrezia Donati, and she was a known mistress of Lorenzo's. Lucrezia was a common name back in renaissance Italy. Lorenzo's mother and eldest daughter are also named Lucrezia.
