Asiya Polad The actress is very young and they made her look like older very well. Like I was surprised because they had a problem with this in season 1. I personally love her hairstyle so much :)

I love the voice over of Catherine de Medici. I think it really highlights the fact that what Clarice and Catherine went through were strikingly similar. The difference was the way they reacted. Catherine shunned and hated Diane de Porte Whereas Clarice recognised that Lucrezia was not at fault in the matter It made all the difference in their marriage, their lives together and how they worked as a team

You are not wrong but truth to be told, in real life, Diane had a much wider influence on Henry (and consequently on Catherine and Henry's children and their education) than Lucrezia has ever had on Lorenzo, so I can't help but feel deeply sorry for Catherine.

hellokafkiana Yes Diane was for Henry very important person and because she was much older than him I believe she was more that just a mistress (Maybe something like advisor and Maybe a friend). But I cant be sorry for Catherine because I don't like what she became (mainly talking about Saint Bartolomes night). But it so sad it The other way that she had to watch how her children failed as a monarches and than Henry IV ( i like him) came and take it all

Be careful, historians still debate heavily on Catherine's role in the issues related to St. Bartholomew's Day massacre, since there is no evidence she really knew and encouraged it. Anyway, she had a tough life (orphan as an infant, married off as a child to a man who was not at all interested in her, always looked with disdain for her family name and her origins, has seen gradually her children die, feeling incapable and desperate as a result and had to be regent in very turbulent times) and I can't help but feel sorry for her.

hellokafkiana Really? Thanks you told me, Even though I Love history my knowledge are sometimes in some areas not much good :D Well I know this from school ( and these history of foreign Countries were Taken only quickly) : D yeah I know about her life, very sad :/

Series is not exactly faithful to the story, because there are actually no sources that prove Lorenzo had an affair with Lucrezia. The poem talk about a platonic love. Plus, Clarice never gave to her the poem, and probably she didn't even know the existence of it. The only thing we know is that in history, Clarice and Lucrezia were friends, not rivals and this pushed me to hate Lucrezia. I'm sorry but Team Clarice Always and Forever. Nice video.

Echelon Girl I don't know they were friends in real life, I didn't find it enywhere. Do you think that this way that authors portraited Lucrezia pushed you to hate her? Because I have also a problem with The way authors presented all this love triangle if I can call it this way. I Unfortunately have not read The poems for Lucrezia but I really want to. Talking about Lucrezia in Tv show I like The performace of Alessandra Mastornadi, and how she was supported and kind to Lorenzo. And they had amazing chemistry. Even though I had a feel that TV show pushed me to love The main couple and I don't like it. My heart of historic can say that we don't know who was Lorenzos true love, but I love to say that it was simply Florence :)

@@nikist1407 i know, but i wanted to point out they didn't. I I loved the Show but the most is fictional lol especially Season 2. They messed up and invented a lot, about the couples, but i understand why. They needed to get young audience or Show would have probably flop. Anyway, the Pazzi's conspiracy is been portayed pretty well, despite Medici's family wasn't alone, but had thousand of guards around them who defended them and defeated Jacopo and Francesco. About Lucrezia, first of all, i'm not a fan of the actress, i don't know her that much, and i didn't see chemistry at all, but problem is, she is been portayed incorrectly. Lucrezia never been a sexual desire/ youthful passion, which is how sadly appear in S2 as Lucrezia Tornabuoni says. "The love triangle thing" "the bad boy Lorenzo" who has a lot of women loving him, Lucrezia, Ippolita, even his wife Clarice, is totally fictional. Clarice was devoted loyal wife, but not so in love with him. There are sources who suggest that Lorenzo kinda forced her having sex with him, visiting her every night, in the time they were together, in order to have more heirs. Thing that series don't show at all. He wasn't that good like in the Show. Plus, he wasn't even a victim of Bernardi because never existed. Everything he did, it was for his free will. Lorenzo wasn't even good looking as Daniel, and never had affairs. Donati was the muse who inspired that young part of Lorenzo who was devoted to poetry, devotion that he completely abandoned for politics and money. I personally loved Clarice and Lorenzo, and i'm grateful to Synn and Daniel for portaying so beautifully their relationship, but series is a lot biased on Lorenzo. I hope i explained everything to you, with enough clarity.

This is stunning! I want cry like no kidding. I don't know how you do this - you gave me exactly a video a need! Firstly I really appreciate your work and I am big fan. Your Medici videos are for me very relaxing especially now when I have a lot of stress as a student and Maybe future university student :D To your video - I love videos about Lucrezia and Lorenzo together with Clarice a lot. And I respect both of these couples, but still prefer Lorenzo with Lucrezia ( just like them together) which doesnt mean that I don't like Clarice (I like especially before she was married how she takes care about people with Carlo) . People hate Lucrezia a lot, and saying that I like Lucrezia is very risky cause I got hates in The past for this opinion. But whatever your video is awesome as usual. What do you think about these three? I would like to know your opinion :) And do you plan a Medici couple video? :) Sorry for a long comment but I think you are already ok with it 😂

I perfectly understand your stress as a student and sympathize entirely, it can be quite challenging, stay strong and keep calm. Do not let all the stress overwhelm you. Moreover, as you probably already know I do not ship Lorenzo and Lucrezia, but this does not mean that I do not respect their past together and the feelings they once shared (and still share, especially on her side). I do not wish hatred on Lucrezia at all, she's grown very much from S2 to S3 and I really hope that no comments filled with hatred will happen under this video. Clarice is still my favorite, yes, but this does not mean I am incapable of seeing the good sides of Lucrezia as well. Honestly, I believe that (fictional) Lorenzo loved Clarice much more than he had ever loved Lucrezia, this is because Clarice was his partner, the mother of his children, his best friend. This does not erase the fact that Lucrezia was his first love, young love, passionate love and in a better world he would have been allowed to be with her. Finally, I do not like very much the idea of videos just focused on "Couples", I'd rather prefer editing with "Themes", so I will probably still edit something with the Medici Dynasty and maybe showing some parallels (there are so many!!!)

hellokafkiana I am trying but these videos helps me to relax for a while a lot :) Thanks for your complex opinion, I like it that you can see this show from more perspectives. Medici dynasty Edits are my absolute favourite, and yeah similarities between Lorenzo and Cosimo - I am there for it, I Love Richards performance as Cosimo so much! I understand how you think about Clarice, I guess their relationship shows a lot in season 3, which I finally find! :) I think Luckrezia deserves at least as you said respect as a part of Lorenzos past, as his first Love and also that she wasnt hatefull towards him and Clarice. I am so excitated that I will see something more from Clarice in season 3. Hopefully I will find time for it soon. Good luck with next videos :)

Multicouples & Multifandom I don't blame her that she just wanted to be happy (thats why I think she doesnt disserve hates she mostly gets) Marriage in mediavel times was more a treat and in a lot of cases unhappy because people didn't marry because they wanted and for love. But still we have some examples like Henry VII and Elizabeth or Carlos and Isabel :) if you like history couples check Carlos, rey emperador you will love these two :)

Multicouples & Multifandom The Reign about Mary Stuart? That was one of my first one, but i must say that it is very history incorect. Unfortunately, but season 4 was good. I think european TV shows are better from history side not only Carlos but Maximilian or Catherine The great (russian version) and Mária Theresia is also not bad :)
