He broke her in the end. He sold off their daughter, that was the end for them. Then she died alone, he wasn't even in Florence when she died. He never deserved her. He needed her more than she ever needed him.

So sad to think that she died at 38 years old, and in fact alone (without him by her side), Lorenzo was not in Florence as it was displayed on this series.

im sorry to say but bruno ruined their relationship. he persuaded lorenzo to do disgusting things and that created a seperation between lorenzo and clarice at the end. clarice deserved better. lorenzo loved her but didnt love her enough. she deserves the world.

ClarEnzo's the most ideal couple in the Medici Line. Here, Lorenzo found strength in Clarice and made her an ally to all his affairs. Clarice was as headstrong as her grandmother-in-law, Contessina and Lorenzo recognized that. Though there is a sight of love between Cosimo and Contessina, Cosimo is a proud man not to admit his feelings, and Piero and Lucrecia's dynamics showed that though Piero is the head, she held the reins on him. Lorenzo and Clarice had the mutual respect, though he was a little wayward at first, he got his act together and prioritized Clarice and their family.

OMG! I loved their story so much, beautiful but also so bittersweet. The love between them grown in time becoming each time more genuine and stronger, even in the darkest time. Lorenzo found in Clarice more than a wife, a friend, an ally, someone he can trusted blindly and his warm safe place to stay, when he was in pain or depressed. Despite the pain she got because of him and this family, she's been loyal to him, and helped him until the very end. This is why Clarice and Lorenzo had a bigger impact on me than Cosimo and Contessina, that i loved anyway, but them, much more because i find their relationship more complete, and i really wish they had more time. Very beautiful video. ❤🤧

Lorenzo was captivated by Carissa at first site not knowing she would be his wife. I feel like what Carissa said to his mistress it was just a lustful immature relationship with no future. Cariisa was strong. I appreciate that she demanded respect. If he didn't love her he would have continued to cheat, but because she said she wouldn't open her heart nor share her husband he ended his affair and changed his focus to what was most important even through temptations. Power is tempting but Love and Family loyalty prevailed. I loved how they supported each other and he trusted her completely. She was pure and a little insecure about his love for her but he did love her. He showed that by his expression of always asking where she was when he arrived home from the very beginning of their relationship to the end.
