Florida is the epicenter of invasive species in the United States. The task of removing these invasive species is not for the faint of heart. Enter Mike and his wirehaired pointer, Otto.
Mike “The Python Cowboy” and his trusted sidekick Otto, are on the frontlines tag-teaming these invasive species almost daily.
Mike, Otto, and team have removed nearly 8,000 iguanas from the Florida canals in the last year alone. The team has also removed nearly 1,500 pythons (eggs included) in just the last few months.
What Mike has been able to accomplish for the native wildlife of Florida would simply not be possible without Otto. The gritty duo works together quickly and efficiently removing invasive species from the Florida canals and Everglades. Their teamwork shows us another amazing story of what’s possible when man and dog forge an unbreakable bond through hunting.

I remember when Mike found his first active nest with a python and eggs. He was stoked. I was too. It's awesome how much Otto has changed the game. Trained python dogs are probably the best tool for the job. I hope more people will start using dogs because getting the nests is clearly a great way to reduce the numbers of pythons.

Mike is such a blessing to the Everglades He is very hardworking and courageous I’ve watched his channel and he is cleaning up those invasive species
Florida is my home state and I truly appreciate what Mike and his dogs do to get rid of invasive critters. I've been watching him for a couple years now and he's always entertaining. Thanks for making a video about him.

geez this was great. Ottos tail wagging shows how much fun he is having. Really sad , I birded in the everglades 30 years ago, it was great, really sad that most are now gone. Great educational video.

What an awesome video! The film crew, sound and final editing was top-notch; not to mention the incredible work performed by Mike and the, Best Supporting Actor, Otto. The blood from the python bites on Mike's hand, (which wasn't even mentioned), was as real as it comes. No need for a special effects team here, son.

Your videos are sick, I was huge reptile enthusiast and actually owned a reptile store in Georgia back in early 2000's , I actuall wonder why your not seeing reticualted pythons ? They became lmost as popular pets as burmese but way more nasty and bigger!!!! Then I moved to Hawaii no snakes or lizard allowed.... I hope I can book a hunt with you seems amazing... Keep the good work and videos coming.
