Fun day out doing some predator control for the local ranchers. The snow was deep but we were not going to let that stop us.
First set had a coyote come from almost a mile away to 70 yards. Its cool to see how these animals come in from a long distance.
Second set had one crease the hill in front of us. He was about 250 yards out but was lokoing at us hard and never gave Elliot or Trapper a chance to get they're guns swung over. Then he turned and ran off with no hesitation. But we lucked out! Seconds later Trapper spots another one coming down the draw. She came in slow steady and perfect. 100 yard snow nap.
Third set had a coyote run out as we were walking into it. He sat on top of a hill 1,200 yards away. For the first 20 mins. Finally broke him loose with some challenge howls. He must of been the guy who ran the show in that territory because he was pissed. Trapper ended up killing him at 250 yards to end the day.
