How wonderful! God has granted you a wonderful gift! My mother was a coloratura. She used to volunteer to sing Ava Maria at weddings at the local churches.

At the height of considerable singing powers immense. A gift from God

No matter what religion or believing or even not a believer. This is one of the purest samples of all vocal music industry.

I envision this man in heaven, singing this to the Blessed Mother herself, as the angels kneel and weep at the sound of his voice.

I'm a Religious Catholic too. Very few Denominations express the beauty of Sacred singing and music as Catholics do - as is displayed here. Let's all indulge in the magnificence of Catholic expression while at the same time remain aware that when we humans die, it's all over.

Many thanks go to whoever remastered this video. I've listened to this thousands of times and never tire of it. Schubert's Ave Maria is my favorite piece of music, and this is by far the best version of it I have ever heard. There are many great versions, but Pavarotti is in a class by himself, and he seemed exceptionally inspired here, as many people are when praying to the Blessed Mother. With the remastering, the strings and the incredible choir sound so much better. Thank you so much.

Heard this song last night on EWTN and my Shazam couldn't find it (i listen to obscure music usually and this has never happened) . There was a statue with ave maria on it for literally 5 seconds, and with a google search I got lucky. THEN listened to an hour of different versions to find THIS version. Thank you for uploading!
