Ls Swapped 911 Breaks Down Again! Refueling Issues, POV Driving

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Currently posting this videos from overseas. Haven’t been out of the country for the past month. Everything you see was recorded before I left America.
The 911 is having a refueling issue. It takes me 15 minutes to add 1.5 gallons of fuel at the gas station. Sometimes I can add 2 gallons of fuel from a plastic jerry can in less than 5 minutes.
Even when disconnecting all the lines at the charcoal canister and fuel vent valve so that the gas tank can vent, it still refuses to accept gas.
I had added 1.2 gallons of fuel 15 minutes before the car broke down. So I’m on the fence as to whether or not it’s a fuel problem. I already ordered a new fuel pump because I’d rather replace it due to running it low on fuel multiple times and 72k miles if life. Cheaper to replace it now than on the road in the future. Also, the current corvette fuel pressure regulator I am using is allowing 70psi which should be regulated to 58psi (possibly the excess fuel pressure has been wearing down the pump). I will replacing the fuel pressure regulator with one from Summit Racing.
Another possibility, loose signal from the gm ecu to the body harness that’s preventing the activation signal to the fuel pump.
The final scenario I’m able to think of at this moment is After priming the fuel pump many times it’s able to pick up enough fuel and leave it in the fuel pump assembly bucket. Therefore the car is only able to run for a short period of time. Either due to a weak fuel pump or low fuel level due to an inaccurate fuel level gauge and the fuel refilling problem I mentioned earlier.
Regardless, we will figure out a solution as soon I get back to the states.
Will purchase a smoke machine to inspect the fuel line vent valves for clogs as well.
Leave comments below if there’s anything you can think of. Have a great day and thank you for watching!

Thank you brother! Loving it out here! However, didn’t expect to miss wrenching on the 911 so much

Had to do that fuel line vent valve on my 997.1. I’d let the car sit for 10-20mins then it would fire up.

Interesting… did it also give you problems filling up with fuel? Also, once you did eventually get it to start, would it die soon after or stay running until you would turn it off?

@@Roybuilds I don’t recall having issues filling it up. It would stay running until I turned it off.
