How to Manual Swap a Porsche 911!
In this video I explain how to manual swap a 2001 porsche 996 911.
Follow these part numbers at your own risk!! Do your own research and make sure each part applies to your model year/trim level.
I recommend getting most of these parts used to save $$$$. The only new parts I would purchase is hardware, coolant lines, o-rings, master cylinder, slave cylinder and brake fluid reservoir. The rest is completely preference.

Hey how about the computer for the automatic transmission how do I do that part my porsche boxter 987 is showing that needs to comunication with the manuel transmission so the engine lite is on what do I do there ????

That I do not know for certain. My best guess is that the DME needs to be coded using a PIWIS diagnostic tool to change it to a manual transmission. Manual transmissions are very simple. Typically the only wires/sensors it has is for the reverse switch. So you shouldn’t need a module for it.
Do you think it would be possible to swap a manual trans to an automatic one, in a 1969 911? Enough space?

If that model came with an automatic option it should fit nicely. I dont know what transmission you'd have to use nor how'd you control it.
