I will post a 2020 review episode release schedule in January and start uploading reviews on a regular basis again by the end of February. Again, this is to allow me time to comb through the newly uncovered goldmine of research that will solidify release dates for Saturn games. I will still be working on review episodes during this time. (Actually just finished writing Off-World just now!) Thank you for your patience and understanding. Happy holidays.
This is like if you woke up tomorrow and found yourself in December 2019; then realise that the last two years were just a dream. This is like if Nintendo let fans make Mario Mania. This is like if the Dreamcast was released with a DVD drive. This is like if I'd realised I loved the taste of peanut butter when I was a kid when I never put on weight. This is like if Nintendo had bought Rare instead of Microsoft. This is like if the KZread algorithm decided to pick up a Pandamonium video and get it the views it deserved.
"Not in 2020..." famous last words
FYI when you get around to Duke, Quake etc…Sega Saturn Magazine UK had a very close relationship with Lobotomy Software, especially between Rich Leadbetter & people at the company. Lots of exclusive info, interviews etc in the magazine.
Shiro is my favorite podcast, by far. I love it when new episodes drop
Glad to have you on board!
Nice high score 👏
A box of Sir Robert Bordens buried in the snow in the backyard?? Sweet Panda Man, you sing to my heart!! 😍
Do what you gotta do man, it'll be worth it in the end. Love being a part of the Saturn community and I love your work!
Great news Panda! Good luck I’ll be waiting for more videos next year.
Take your time, don't extert yourself and have nice holidays
Wow that's amazing, you're legit the unsung hero of the internet
I make a cameo appearance at 1:09

I only understood the joke after clicking the time code. Smooth one. :)
Looking forward to the upcoming videos next year. Have a Merry Christmas. Oh, and it's nice to see some decent Nights gameplay footage for a change - most reviewers don't seem to understand how to play it.

Thanks! I'm hoping to crank out a higher score by the 25th. I gotta work on the boss fight and getting better scores in the 2nd and 3rd routes.
Looking forward to hearing more on the podcast! The interview with Ken was a lot of fun. For another contemporary source of reviews, check out Interactive Entertainment -- archive.org/details/interactive_entertainment -- a CD-based magazine that was released in the early- to mid-1990s. I like to archive clips of them on my channel, but they often have (grainy) footage in previews and reviews, and text transcripts of the audio portions of the reviews. Every now and then, you can spot rare footage, like a snippet of the Conan game for Jaguar. Plus it hits all the right nostalgia notes. The Google Groups thing was a rough read -- finding younger me's posts from 1999 was embarrassing as hell. Never thought I'd be re-reading something I wrote 20 years later.
"This is like The California Gold Rush of Sega Saturn research." "This is like burning your Thanksgiving turkey to a crisp but discovering that everything under the black burnt layer are chunks of the most delicious turkey you've ever eaten." "This is like finding an unmarked briefcase filled to the brim with fat wads of Prime Minister Sir Robert Bordens buried in the snow in your backyard." "This is like growing a third testicle." "This is like finding a complete mint copy of Panzer Dragoon Saga for five bucks at a thrift store." "This is like finally understanding why kids love the taste of Cinnamon Toast Crunch." "This is like finding out your tap water tastes exactly like grape Kool-Aid without any adverse health effects." "This is like if a child were to find a T-Rex fossil underneath the soil of their local park." "This is like when Arthur Reed got his very first library card." "This would be like finding out that Metroid Prime 4 comes out in a month." "This would be like meeting Craig 'The Walrus' Stadler." "This would be like if you saw The GFFFFFFFFF without a bag on his head and discovered what his face looks like." "This would be like having a widescreen Dariusburst arcade machine, _in your house_ ." I don't know what's more impressive, your dedication to reviewing every US Sega Saturn game by order of release date, or your dedication to creating over a dozen on-point analogies for the revelatory new source on Sega Saturn release dates.

@@PandaMoniumReviews thank you!
Any plans for other series in the future? Maybe something to prevent exhaustion on the same subject.

For the Love of the Game I actually do have a few side project ideas. I really enjoy Darius and Spyro. Also thinking about diving into leaked demos of other canceled 5th gen games like Die Hard 64. Not sure about what I’ll do when, but there’s interest in other side projects. They won’t get in the way of the main series though.
