there were people who were saying " i wish he caught her with the web" but that is how Gwen had died, earlier in TASM 2 he had saved her by jumping up towards her, grabbing her and taking the impact, thats exactly how he saved MJ because the WEB DIDN'T WORK

I love the fact how he tried saving her by holding her rather than spraying a web to get to her faster. He’s made that mistake before and this shows the kind of regret he has to carry all his life because of a wrong calculation at a brain-numbing moment is so strikingly heartbreaking 💔

fact that Garfield makes us believe that all these years later he's still grieving Gwen's Death in just the last 2 seconds of this video is amazing. Point being these are just fictional characters. Brilliant actor.

This is such a well-made video. Good job! I still can't get over the fact Gwen died. I cannot imagine the grief Peter has gone through. The feeling of sorrow, anger, regret. Spending day and night wishing he could change things. But the thought of Gwen is gone and he wasn't able to save her will stay with him forever. That is the worst pain.

Going through that one memory multiple times remembering the things you could have changed angry about the situation regret the depression from his loss and he couldn’t tell a soul about how he’s feeling because to Everyone else he was somewhere else but to him he thinks it’s he is fault that he wasn’t fast enough this kills

Spider Man saved everybody's world He couldn't save his world 🥺🥺😭😭

He suffered the most. He lost everyone he loved. Gwen was everything to him. She was his home, comfort and safe place. He trusted her with everything. What makes their bond special is she wasn't a damsel in distress. She always helped him with everything she could. She was a true companion to him. Even after breaking up he kept following her from far. He needed her so much. He tried his best to stay away from her. He was ready to leave everything behind to stay with her. It breaks my heart how he will blame himself forever. The regret, guilt and broken heart is gonna stay with him forever.

Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man, watching him lose Gwen, and how he becomes so desperate to save MJ in No Way Home later makes me tear up so bad, man. I can just see, through the amazing acting, that he's panicking like crazy, remembering his Gwen, and thinking about how he does not want that to ever happen again. He feels so relieved when he manages to save someone who means as much to them, as Gwen did to him, as if he's getting some sort of closure. (I know both MJ and Gwen are in the same universe, in every Spider-Man iteration, and saying "Another Peter's Gwen" when it's literally MJ, and not Gwen, because Gwen and MJ can exist in the same space.. You know what I mean, he said it himself in the movie, lol.)

My favorite peter Parker and my favorite Spider-Man out of the big 3. Peter and Gwen had so much chemistry. So sad how it ended in the end. At least he got redemption in NWH. This just brakes my heart. I remember watching TASM in theater and when Gwen fell and Peter couldn't save her i wasn't able to breath the right way. It took me a great effort to stay until the end of the movie. And then watching NWH and seeing Peter save MJ and i felt it in my heart that my and Peter's expression was the same as i am when he asked MJ and she said she was okay. It's the expression that says " I am not okay, but i am okay, i saved you, you're alive, My Gwen is dead but i have managed too save you, it's a Deja vu all over again and I've made this time. I'll be better." So thank you for this video and breaking up my heart and heal it at the same time
