I LOVE a great guitar duet! And I keep wanting to call the drummer little, but she is such a powerhouse. Really enjoying them.

James Roessler They combining 1982 with 1987 and 1997 on purpose. even early avenged was retro. Jinjer is fairly progressive & new tho,, but still builds on prog & death foundations

Great reaction! I love these gals so much. It's should be illegal to have two guitar players of this caliber in the same band but I'm glad it's not. Another popular one of theirs is "Rising" which I'm pretty sure you would love also.

These ladies don't kidd around when they play. Asami, the singer, said "We're not here to be cute. We are here to play heavy metal." Don't worry, y'all are not cute. Y'all are frikkin' gorgeous! As to playing heavy metal, when Herman Li of Dragon Force puts on a dress and heals and tries to audition for the band, you've got the metal nailed! Sincere good wishes to Miho on her future endevors and mega congrats to Miyako on her marriage and the birth of their child. I hope the future brings your family nothing but good!

Did no one warn you that Japanese rock/metal can be highly addictive? There is some thing about the way they write songs that's different from bands in the west. Every time I watch them, music videos or live, is a reminder that they are THAT good. @Aratha Sena Yes, after listening to it a few more times I agree, it wouldn't be possible to do it live, so it's the perfect amount for what the song calls for.

Another great Japanese power metalband I would recommend if you like Lovebites is Unlucky Morpheus. Either Knight of Sword or Black Pentagram are great introductions!

"Black Pentagram" by Unlucky Morpheus (Japanese melodic neo-classical metal band) "Awakening (Full Band Playthrough Video)" by Unleash the Archers (I am surprised you HAVEN'T reacted to these guys yet; they are incredible; power metal from Canada) "King for a Day" by Battle Beast (You haven't reacted to these guys in like 4 months, so you should get back into them!) "Blooming" by BAND-MAID (This is like their best song, it slaps like crazy) "Grave of the Fireflies" by The Raven Age (I noticed you reacted to these guys only once like 5 or 6 months ago, so it'd be cool to see you react to more of them) "Nighttaker" by The Unguided (melodic metal from Sweden; they are super underrated and don't get enough love on KZread) Thanks! :D

LOVEBITES RULES !!! Love your reactions. People says they wear white so as to stand out on stage because they are petite, No No No. They wore White dresses to symbolize that they are indeed Sophisticated and Elegant Ladies and also to show that Metal music need not be dark and gloomy always. I know because the Ladies themselves said so in an Interview !!!

I'll tell ya a story about why this is probably the 100th metal reaction i've watched to LoveBites by various metalheads on youtube. Early 2018, I was directed to this little video by a metal friend, it was some band called LoveBites and a little song called Don't Bite The Dust (Still my favorite to this day). I sat there with my mouth hanging open, strange chills and goosebumps rode my body like a rodeo cowboy and I was mesmerized by this sound. I had not heard this sound since Priest, Maiden, Helloween and Dragon Force broke my speakers in the late 80's. I scoured ebay and found the Awakening.album from an importer there and here it went. I then watched these 3 years as slowly, metalheads began finding it, and I began to see vids pop up of Shadow Maker, Rising, Destinies, Holy War ect,ect. It thrills me to no end to have been there from the beginning, it was my (And a few of my international friends) OMFG secret we were all willing to share and watch happily as others found it. It's now exploded as it should have and I LOVE seeing all these faces of metalheads being melted. It's so cool knowing whats coming as I watch their faces, watch it hit them, watch them MELT and remember that stunned look, and watch it as it rolls across faces now in 2020. This band is a Metal GoD band, and I am so glad they are getting the attention they deserve now. Go back to that 1st song, Don't Bite The Dust and right up to now, it's always been a face melting non stop, never a bad song ride. So Glad to now be welcoming so many to this thing called LoveBites...enjoy.

Good reaction! This band is awesome. If you liked them check out Unlucky Morpheus. It also an amazing band from Japan. They will speed up you descent into the Japanese metal rabbit hole. I recommend starting with Black Pentagram.
