It's so unbelievable every time when they perform you can see every song which they play how much means to them. this concert Five of kind Tokyo is from this year and I'd love to see your reactions on the other songs like Holly war, Swan song, Signs of deliverance and so on. Great band and song! Well worth checking out live if you get the chance, I've seen them 3 times in the UK over the last few years as they do tour internationally a lot. I'd also recommend checking out this video from another j-rock group called Gacharic Spin: kzread.info/dash/bejne/Z6lppLynhMicqrQ.html It's a live performance of their speed-metal track Black Survival and features an introductory drum solo and some really fantastic singing (both from guest vocalist for this performance Fuki, and the rest of the band providing layered harmony backing vocals).

Haruna, the drummer, may not break 5" even with heels!!! But she is a beast on those drums, what is with these female drummers (Pau of The Warning, Mari from Mary's Blood, etc..). They all must have the sticks reinforced after each performance. These ladies are the real deal, 80's power metal with some modern influences and that bluesy vocals to offset that insane pounding beat. This band is just a blast to listen to and enjoy, the main reason anyone listens to music in the first place!!!

Hey Tauri, great reactions to Lovebites and Band-Maid. I'll subscribe just to see you do more of these. Re. Lovebites: You could have asked a bunch of comic-book artists to design a band of alien superheroes, disguised as beautiful women who use music to battle darkness, and they could not have come up with this. It's really insane.

Yasss, another Lovebites!! Yes I agree with you, Asami's voice has a vibe of Bruce Dickinson in it. In fact, Iron Maiden is indeed one of their biggest influences. Have you reacted to their song "The Crusade"? If you haven't, please react to it. It's their love letter to Iron Maiden as their biggest influence. Yup I agree on the comparison to Bruce Dickson it’s I thought as well and IM is one of the inspections and favorite bands

Lovebites live performances are awesome. Look for concerts “Daughters of the dawn”, “Battle in the east”; “Wacken” and “5 of a kind” (2020); please avoid “Bloodstuck” (bad audio). My recommendations: - Hammer of wrath - Shadowmaker - under the red sky - Crusade - Epilogue - Break the wall - Swan song - Empty daydream - Edge of the world - Signs of deliverance

Other songs by them, Rising, Break The Wall, Swan Song, Epilogue, Hammer of Wrath (Just avoid any videos from Bloodstock festival, the sound in that show is really messed up). Hello Tauri, hope you react to "ANTHEM - Black Empire". They are Japanese heavy metal legends.

I agree about the comparison between Bruce and Asami. I would say she's actually better than him. I love Bruce, but he's just not able to hit the high spots like he used to. Maiden is a major influence on the girls, but there's also a sprinkling of Judas Priest and Metallica on the song. Midori (blonde guitarist) is great, but I think Miyako outstrips her. Neither would be out of place in more well-known bands. And I need Covid to bugger off so Lovebites can come back to Britain, their spiritual home! Hope everything is well with you, sweetheart? Seeing that they were heavily influenced by Iron Maiden, you can see where the similarities come in. But surmise this. That opening riff and the song in general, even though Miho (the bassist) came up with it after seeing Slayer in concert, screams Slayer, Metallica (the vibe of Blackened), Testament, Sepultura, and Anthrax. In fact, you could take this song, take LoveBites out of it, throw in Joey Belladonna, Scott Ian, Danny Spitz, Charlie Benante, and Frank Bello, and it would sound like it just came off of Among the Living from 1986. This and Hammer of Wrath just scream Joey Belladonna and Bruce Dickinson, and that's putting LoveBites on their level.

Wow! A good reaction and the best format with quarter screen of you and three quarter the video you are reacting too. Sensible breaks and rewinds during the video and no like and subscribe graphics every minute or so. Thank you for your reaction. As you are finding out Lovebites, is so much more than a 'power metal' band. Herman Li, from Dragonforce, took them to the UK as a support act for part or all of DragonForce's tour. Yeah, great reaction and the probably best song from theirs new album. Very thrashy, almost feels like Metallica in theirs best years. Someone mentioned they sounds great live and i can't agree more. no better live band on the planet at the present time.not even close. BUT - on another note youtube is really pissing me off. i could take the commercials before and after the reactions but this one got stopped 3 times DURING the song for breaks. unacceptable.just plain bogus

@@thedocofrock1890 Use Brave Browser as it blocks all ads (also lots of the trackers and other nasty stuff that tries to track you around the internet), I never get them on KZread. Either that or install AdBlock which is available for most browsers.

Nice reactions, however this is not hair metal.

If I had to pick one thing to improve the band it would be to fine a better lead vocalist.
