About their dresses. When Lovebites was touring Europe as the opening act for Dragonforce a French metal magazine interviewed Asami (singer) about that, Asami's response was, "we're girls, we don't want to dress like boys. Also, we are all small and the white and gold makes it easier to see us on stage." And they are small, they range from Haruna (drums) at 4' 9" (145cm) to the tallest, Miyako (dark haired guitarist) and Fami (new bassist) at 5' 2" (157cm).

I haven't gone through all the comments, so not sure if anyone already said this, but Miho was still in the band for this one. She's on the bass. Miho left about a year later, and she was replaced by Fami in 2022. Fami can be seen in the music videos for "Judgement Day" and "Stand and Deliver (Shoot 'em Down)" as well as any of the live videos from the Knockin' at Heaven's Gate DVD from 2023.

The band members of LOVEBITES are (including their official nicknames) Asami on vocals (the one and only voice): Has an amazing vocal range and vibrato, writes most of the lyrics, also did parts of the song writing for their latest 2 albums, she is a former ballerina and RnB/soul singer Miyako on guitars, piano, keyboards (the golden touch): She is the musical brain of the band, main composer and arranger, also she is a soulful but also shreddy guitar player and concert level pianist, she loves her pets and Star Wars Midori on guitars (crazy shredder): Incredibly fast and technical guitar player, does songwriting for a few songs, also she is a body fitness athlete Haruna on drums (little big engine): Best drummer in the universe (IMO), wrote one of their songs including lyrics, creates handmade miniature fake food Fami on bass since 2022 (shining fingers): Absolute bass prodigy with outstanding technique, she speaks faster than sonic speed as she plays and smiles non-stop Miho on bass until 2021 (natural born headbanger): she is a great bass player, she wrote several of the songs for the band’s albums 1-3, also the band was Miho‘s idea, she and Haruna were the founding members!

Welcome to LOVEBITES 🤘🏼🐺🔥 Here some information about the band: LOVEBITES are around since 2016 and their first EP and album came out in 2017. At this point they have already released 4 albums, some Singles/EPs and also a bunch of live DVD/Blu-ray releases. Back in 2018/2019 LOVEBITES have already toured in Europe, including appearances at the major metal festivals as Wacken, Download, Bloodstock, Graspop. In 2018 they also won the Metal Hammer UK Golden Gods Award for best new band. Then came covid, their original bass player and founder Miho quit the band for personal reasons and two babies were born. After a break LOVEBITES came back with new bassist Fami and new song „Judgement Day“ in late 2022. A new album with the same title came out in February 2023. It debuted on #4 at iTunes album charts worldwide and #1 at metal charts in 8 countries. Recently their album „Judgement Day“ was voted #15 in best metal albums of the year 2023 by readers of Metal Hammer UK. Also „Stand and deliver“ was voted on #15 for best metal song of the year. What are fantastic results for a still relatively unknown and foreign band. LOVEBITES finished touring Japan last October. They will be on a WORLD TOUR this year. First dates are already announced for this summer. They will appear at several festivals. For example they will play on main stage at Hellfest/France, one of the biggest metal festivals in Europe (with 60k tickets sold). This is an overview of LOVEBITES 55 self-written songs and 3 covers (plus 6+1 covers by band members) with your reaction marked with a star (*). All these songs are great, they have no bad, weak or meh songs, and no fillers at all. Every song is special, you could randomly select a song, best life, of course, and LOVEBITES won't disappoint you. They play many different Heavy Metal styles with a certain LOVEBITES sound, they revive the masters of the 80's (and 90's) in a fresh and modern way. LOVEBITES may have the most talented musicians around, all of them S tier. Drummer Haruna is relentless like a metronome, both Miho and Fami master their bass (for Fami's capabilities, you should visit "Alien Alien" from my list, it's in her KZread channel will almost 700K subscribers), the dual guitars M&M (for Midori and Miyako) is most certainly the best duo for trading guitar solos and harmonizing, and Asami's voice is stellar with big range, powerful belt and good vibrato. She is also a trained ballerina with exceptional stage presence. One reactor caller her "Stage General", which is perfectly put. Hard, tight, fast, relentless, effortless and clean, that's LOVEBITES. You just found the most talented metal band to come along in decades. In their first five years of existence, they put themselves on par with the greatest bands of metal’s golden age. They recently went on a year-and-a half hiatus while they waited out the pandemic and searched for a new bassist. They announced the new bassist in October 2022 (see below) and dropped their first new song on December 22. Their new album, “Judgement Day”, was released two months later. They did their first live performances in more than two years in summer of 2023, with their new bassist Fami. Their very first show was commemorated on the DVD “Knocking on Heaven’s Gate”. They have posted four performances from that DVD-“”Hammer of Wrath”, “Judgement Day”, “Nameless Warrior” and “Liar”. All of them are barn-burners. They have also posted “Stand and Deliver”, “Swan Song”, “MDO” and “We the United” from the second concert. Some background: They were formed in 2016 from the remnants of a legendary all-girl Japanese metal band called Destrose (yes, all-girl metal has been a thing in Japan since at least 1981). Miho (bass, chief headbanger and founder of the band) had a vision of a new band in the style of the great European bands of the golden age of metal. She recruited her former bandmate Haruna (drums, 4'9" “pocket nuclear reactor”); they needed two world-class guitarists, and so they went and found Midori and Miyako, who were with other groups. The four of them then found Asami, the singer, who was doing soul and blues at the time (she was also trained in ballet). Miyako has composed a little more than half of their music, with Miho composing a lot of their thrashier songs in collaboration with Mao, the lead composer of another band called Lightbringer. Midori has also been getting into the act, and they regularly perform a song written by Haruna as well. Asami writes most of the lyrics and is also getting involved in composing. In mid-2021, Miho left the band she had founded, for personal reasons. They went on hiatus while they searched for a new bassist, and during that time, two of them had babies, even as the band were writing and rehearsing their new album. They recently announced the new bassist, Fami, who is a young phenom and herself a composer and multi-instrumentalist. They toured with Dragonforce in 2019, and word from those in attendance was that next time around, it will be the ladies headlining. They do everything from soulful power ballads to heavy thrash. Almost every song includes face-melting solos by Miyako and Midori. The two guitarists are quite different in style and tone. Midori (blonde ponytail) is the extrovert and speed demon; Miyako is the introvert, with the more soulful feel (though she can also shred like crazy). Midori uses a cleaner tone, Miyako uses more distortion, pinch harmonics and pedal effects. The contrast makes their duets rich and dynamic. It doesn’t hurt that either one can smoke most of the shredders in the classic metal bands. As another reviewer said, "It seems criminal these two are allowed to be in the same band." LOVEBITES was formed in 2016 by Miho(Ba) and Haruna(Dr), members of the band "DESTROSE", which went on hiatus in 2015. The girls made their major label debut in 2017 (March 24) with "THE LOVEBITES EP". On 18 June 2018, LOVEBITES won 'BEST NEW BAND' at the Metal Hammer Golden Gods 2018 awards organised by the British metal magazine METAL HAMMER. On 4 August, LOVEBITES performed on the W.E.T stage at WACKEN OPEN AIR 2018, one of the world's largest annual metal festivals in Germany, with the 10,000 capacity venue almost full. "Bloodstack open air 2018(Aug. 10)" also participated. On August 20,2018, LOVEBITES announced that it has partnered with X-ray Touring, one of the largest players in the UK booking agent industry. LOVEBITES are quite possibly THE most musically talented metal band on the planet - especially when you consider Miyako's "concert" level piano skills (not shown in this song, but you may have seen the Grand Piano on stage). I was looking forward to some comments about the band at the end. We heard a few words from Sujy, then ... food van? Was pretty weird.

I hope you do more of this amazing band. I enjoyed your reaction although it was really off at the end. Your comments seemed like they abruptly stopped and then the video cut to you two eating by the train tracks - completely unrelated to the music you just watched. I'm usually the one who can't shut up, lol! You will get tired of my commenting voice soon I promise :). We lately have been vlogging at the end of each reaction. We did this reaction casually without thinking we were gonna get any views (I know, lesson learned). Next time, I will comment more. I need to be creative with the post-reaction because people mostly skip that part.

Haha, the music from these five metal goddesses is always powerful and encouraging us while many other metal bands mostly present darkness, sexuality and craziness.I recommend Swan Song with Chopin intro, Break the Wall, Glory to the World, Frozen Serenade, Liar, Stand and Deliver,,,,,will stop at this point. Please look into others ones! All marvelous.
