Excellent reaction. Fellow guitar nerd here. The guitar Miyako is playing is a Gibson Futura. It was a 1957 concept design which eventually became the Explorer in 1958. In 1996, Gibson decided to do a limited run of them. They're pretty hard to find. Miyako is a Gibson collector. She managed to hunt one down and bought it.

Miyako is playing her Gibson Futura 1957, very rare! 🤘

I believe it´s a gibson futura, pretty rare. the joy, energy, talent and stage presence of this band are unique. and to see fami playing with neckbreaking pace on that bass, while walking elegantly down a staircase in high heels, so amazing. they all make it seem so effortless.

This song is from their 2nd full album of 2018 but they have often used it as a show closer.

Good reaction. This is a new live performance of their old piece. The video was released by Official Lovebites about a week ago. This tune has been Lovebites anthem and the closer of live concerts.

When they started , they were already one of the best band's in the world , and they getting better day by day , the throne for the ladies its more than fair. A band with no weak points , one by one they are top musicians as a group they have no match , and in this one Fami beated her smile record 😂 🐺🤘❤🤘🐺

If I have counted correctly, this was the 10th LOVEBITES reaction, but only the third live performances after "Holy War" and "Break The Wall"! This was the new line-up with Fami, former bassist and band leader was Miho.

Lovebites stands for the principle: "If something is important to you, then _do_ it." Even if it is excellent Metal. Haruna (drums) and Miho (ex-Lovebites bass) did not just _long_ for it, they started to perform it. And now, Lovebites exist. Examplary. Thank you, ladies!

Saw "Break The Wall" to watch you and Paul experience that masterpiece of brutality/serenity, again, refreshing my memory. "It's like early Metallica if your could hear the bass player!" ... after "Judgement Day" MV you started a "rabbit hole" interrupted by "Stand & Deliver" getting your "behind the scenes" wish. Although I will enjoy any direction you choose to go, beginning-to-end or newest-&-back-tract, they have released 8 LIVE videos performed at their "Resurrection" shows last March, including "Judgement Day" & "Stand & Deliver" with "We The United" being most recent. Some songs from each album, but opening the first show in 2 years with the song they opened their 2017 album and many shows with, such as Wacken & Bloodstock, words & music by former bassist & leader, founder of the band "Natural Born Headbanger" Miho, with Fami playing Miho's bass-lines note-for-note(!) No, at the time of this concert she had not yet bought the Gibson V Korina. This one looks different too. It is another Gibson or a Gibson-like guitar from a Japanese manufacturer.🙂

This is an overview of LOVEBITES 55 self-written songs and 3 covers (plus 6+1 covers by band members) with all of your reactions marked with a star (*). As you already know, all these songs are great, they have no bad, weak or meh songs, and no fillers at all. Every song is special, you could randomly select a song, best life, of course, and LOVEBITES won't disappoint you. They play many different Heavy Metal styles with a certain LOVEBITES sound, they revive the masters of the 80's (and 90's) in a fresh and modern way. LOVEBITES may have the most talented musicians around, all of them S tier. Drummer Haruna is relentless like a metronome, both Miho and Fami master their bass (for Fami's capabilities, you should visit "Alien Alien" from my list, it's in her KZread channel will almost 700K subscribers), the dual guitars M&M (for Midori and Miyako) is most certainly the best duo for trading guitar solos and harmonizing, and Asami's voice is stellar with big range, powerful belt and good vibrato. She is also a trained ballerina with exceptional stage presence. One reactor caller her "Stage General", which is perfectly put. Hard, tight, fast, relentless, effortless and clean, that's LOVEBITES. @@AlonsoTherion there were reasons. I have not addressed them publicly. It started that he didn’t want to be on any more and now we are not even friends.

I’m not the biggest fan of power metal either, it’s hit or miss for me. Only one of my suggestions fall into that category, Dark Side of the Moon- The Gates of Time. If you’re familiar with guitarist Hans Platz, this is a side project of his with drummer from Amaranthe and vocalist Melissa Bonny from Ad Infinitum.

It is very unlikely, there will be one Lovebites song you will not enjoy, power metal or not! 😀
