Loving Jesus more than anyone else will cause you to be a better wife, mother, husband, father, sister, brother etc... The beautiful part is, you don't have to "try" to be better. Loving Him above all else, will make you a better person in every relationship by default. 💕

My husband left me Dec 23rd, my ex won't let me see my daughter after moving to a new state to be near her, I have no friends or family close by... I am FULL of gratitude & JOY, because God used this to call me closer to Him than I ever have been, and I've experienced Him for the 1st time in my life! I finally have a REAL authentic relationship with Him! ❤😭 After being connected to Him- all I want is YESHUA! Living without sin is soooo much easier when I let him in & spend time with him in my prayer closet & reading the bible every morning. Thank you Lord, Jesus for being my light in darkness & for saving me from the mire. I'm forever changed! ❤😭

I agree sister in Christ Jesus. I believe Your daughter has been taken from you by your husband although I don't know if he was right or wrong. I think God used this situation to humble you. God would never take away your child. As God humbled me I believe this here is a good experience more than a mere bad one. Eventually you will get to see your daughter i think if you truly turn your life around for Your daughters sake not for your own but because you get to your privilege that husband and wife have mother and father for their children A female will never imitate anything close to a. Male nor a male to a female. So get down on your knees and pray to go forward but with your husband if possible and pray to God to unite with husband and daughter. Don't do nothing. Don't simply sit there and whine that's not what a christian does but when it does hurt we can find comfort and God sometimes in other things but God first and foremost amen? Amen.

Hi tamitha20. So many misfortunes happen in the lives of people all over the world. Not everyone knows of Jesus and what He did on the cross. Some people reckon that if God really does love them He would not let them go through the unbelievable and imaginable pains they experience. Some of these experiences leave people bitter.

Soon, Andrew. You know what, I felt that way too when I prayed to Him it was as if talking to Him in prayer is getting old like "Lord, I wanna see you and know all about my questions when I was on earth and all my little curiosity abt life that only you knew." :) And also when things get kinda tricky in life and you just want Him to get you so you could experience His eternal peace and love and joy and praise His name forever and see His kingdom and that gold floor and walls the Bible talked abt and everything else that's incomparable to all the riches people keep on earth... The honor of being His child and btw, He's the King of kings and Lord of lords robed in majesty! Aaaah who among His children wouldn't be excited to exchange that for all the temporary happiness and life with punishments and consequences of sin, and disappointments, and pain, and war, and evil on Earth? My ultimate dream is the moment I die, He'll welcome me saying, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant." So I pray we'll continue to live by His Word and grow more so we could follow Jesus. :)

That's actually what I'm longing for- to truly receive Christ, realize how much He has forgiven me and how much He loves me, so that I can be transformed and have the fullness of His Spirit. I've been a worker in our church for a long time but it seems like a very difficult journey having no passion for Him. I think the passion for the Lord can only be obtained when we truly get to know Him, not only by head knowledge but also by heart, like grasping how much He loves us. This is what I've been praying for.

@@harumanalphaessence3593 I don't understand your question in the context of the previous comments, but I will try to explain as best I can. God is a warrior in the sense that He takes vengeance on all His enemies. In His mercy, He has deemed in these latter times, to "wait" till judgment day to punish sin. He doesn't always wait, it is His prerogative how He judges us. And we know that whatever He chooses is the right way to exact this vengeance, and He is the only one who should exact this vengeance (Deuteronomy 32:35) . The only, and I mean ONLY, way to have peace with God and cease to be His enemy is through faith in the work of Jesus the Christ on the cross (Romans 5:1 along with many others). We all are God's enemy by nature and deserving of His wrath (Ephesians 2:3), so in His goodness, grace and mercy, He sent Jesus to be the atoning sacrifice, or propitiation, for our sins (1 John 4:10). God being a Warrior is just ONE aspect of His character. He is also filled with mercy for those who obey Him (Exodus 20:6), love (1 John 4:8), kindness, longsuffering and patience (Romans 2:4), and wants us to consider Him our Father and everything that relationship entails (Isaiah 64:8 along with many many others). I hope this answers your question, I'm sorry if it doesn't but like I said, I didn't understand your question in the context of the previous comments so I'm not quite sure as to what you're getting at.

@atam mardes You seem really angry at someone who you claim doesn’t exist. If everything was unguided as you state, then how are you objectively right vs my right to believe. Ask yourself, why do you care since with evolution, everything is all subjective. So whether someone believes in the Flying Spaghetti Monster, you have no bases of saying they are wrong. In the end we are both right, hence why evolution is so foolish. God gives everyone the choice to love him or not to love him. What’s true love if someone doesn’t give you a choice. We also don’t follow religion. To be a Christian, one has to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Jesus is alive as much as our parents are alive and we know for a fact he exist. He has shown he is reliable and true by fulling all of his promises to us from the scriptures. We see the works of his hand in our lives daily. He wants to have a relationship with you and it’s up to you whether you accept or reject him. The Bible says its “appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgement”. Tell me honestly; what is your understanding about this statement by the Lord? Here’s the logical flow of the text: if you worship God the Father as God, you do the same to the Son. It is simply saying that whatever honor and worship you give to God, you give the same to the Son. That being said, it can only be true if the Son is God.

Hi Eric. I raised this question with my pastor about how sometimes it seems to me that God the Father takes a 'backseat' in my focus on Jesus. He encouraged me in the fact that Jesus has come to reveal the Father. He said, if you have seen me, you have seen the Father. As Jesus said, if you love God the Father, you will love me. (If you love Jesus, you love the Father also). Hope that is helpful

Because Christian fundamentalists claim that they know the truth and don't have the intellectual honesty to admit that it's impossible to know if Jesus was really the Son of God. I understand that they have "faith", but that's the exact same method that people of completely different religions use to know that their religion is true. I'm agnostic because there's no way I can choose to believe in one supernatural myth over another supernatural myth.

+MatthewLedZepfan you don't really understand the concept of 'faith' since it is an old English word from Shakespearean times, meaning 'a trust based on evidence' nowadays most folk think of 'faith' as some magical force they have to hype up from within themselves, but when Christians originally used that term they were talking about a belief in God based on all the evidences He has presented so whenever a Christian tells you 'you have to have faith' or 'you just have to believe hard enough', they are in error and don't understand the very Gospel that Christ has presented to mankind - a 'good news' that God has become a man, in order to save men; evidencing His great love for the lost in dying on their behalf, and evidencing His authority and power by resurrecting if you truly concern yourself with such matters, i suggest you look into the evidence for the resurrection to see why we put our trust in Jesus

Been trudging through a long season of feeling apathetic in my faith and an unwillingness to develop intimacy with Jesus. But as I started struggling with community and friendships, I found myself longing to desire God again. I hate that it takes a certain aspect of my life to suffer before I realize my NEED and WANT for Jesus... but I can't deny it and I can only pray that my desire to return to the arms of my Father will grow stronger day by day. +Carolina Neira: I like to say that our love is insufficient to honor our creator, not only because He created us, but also because He loved us so much He was willing to humiliate Himself and die a much worse death than we can imagine. So, what do we do if our love is insufficient? We borrow from God's love, which is enough for all things. Because God loved us so much, we should be able to rely on Him and love each other not just with our love, but from the overflow of what God has done for us.

We must be willing to give up it all for Jesus like Peter his wife and job and Andrew his job and James and John their families. John Piper brings up a valid point of what Jesus' says. A parents love for a child is so strong. They would do anything to save their child to keep their child and to love them so deeply. Even Abraham loved the LORD so much he took up his beloved son he waited for into such an old age. Do we really love Jesus more than our deep love for family or friends or even idols in our lives like entertainment or our job? We know at least 4 of Jesus' disciples gave up everything immediately to follow Jesus. Our love for Jesus should be so powerful we would forfeit our children we cherish and even our jobs and livelihoods if we loved him! We need to soul search and see where our hearts lie. It's very tough to love someone we can't see.

Gavin, I pray that your heart will be changed by God, and that you'll realize how deserving Jesus is for all our love and awe and reverence, he died on the cross for all and that includes you.

I lost my mum lately and I find comfort form the lord, I find its all I think of before anything else is that bad I love my family but I just want Jesus I want that time with him reading and praying write now I am hungry for the lord.

+SQUAREHEAD64 I often wonder that too. It seems that many think their ministry is to go around with a doctrinal checklist and make sure everyone is holding to it. Or they are evangelical anti-theists who enjoy bothering believers. In both cases, I have learned they are best ignored.

I love you Jesus! I love you so much and I give my heart to you and I surrender to you Lord Jesus. Dear God, please let me surrender to your great will. I will love you more than anything else in the world. If it takes me to die right now to go to Heaven, I’ll do it! When I die, I wish to go straight to Heaven. I worship you God, and I hope to go through those gates of Heaven and be with you and the angels one day! I love you !

Anyone can claim to be God, however, people of understanding know how to validate or invalidate such a claim. This is because God has qualities that no other being has. One of these qualities is " All-knowing". Any being who is not all-knowing can't be God. The Bible says " The next day, when they had left Bethany, Jesus was hungry. Seeing in the distance a fig tree in leaf, He went to find out if there was any fruit on it. But when He reached it, He found nothing on it except leaves, since it was not the season for figs. ( Mark 11: 12-13 ). If Jesus is God, All-knowing, how come he didn't know the fig tree had no fruits on it? And why would an All-knowing being want to "find out" anything? Evidently, Jesus was not all-knowing, and therefore, he is not God. False hope is no substitute for the truth.

He is written on our heart.

Holms Peterson Actually YHWH the Father said that His Son is indeed The Almighty God. You’ll have to find that for yourself. Just as God does things that you may never understand also means Jesus Christ of Nazareth will also do things you may never understand. For His ways are not your ways and his thoughts are not your thoughts. And if you reject Jesus Christ as God you also reject the Father YHWH as Almighty God.. The Bible verse is there. Please repent from what you said and be blessed especially after you find it.
