Yeah the biggest issue with Zanab was that she set herself up for failure constantly and imo insecurity makes people more unattractive. She told him she would look like a different person beforehand which was why he made that comment, and then even after he said I’m so attracted to you she questioned it by pointing out all the things “wrong” with here in that moment. So many other examples of her putting these negative thoughts into his head with her own mouth and comparing herself to the other ladies. I’m not saying Cole is blameless, he’s clearly pretty insensitive and also not emotionally intelligent so doesn’t realise it’s all a cry for reassurance, he just thinks it’s all jokes and goes with it.

Nah I am not insecure about my weight but that only makes me _more_ annoyed if people make dumb comments like "Are you trying to lose weight to fit into your wedding dress?" Because at 5'4" 134lbs I don't need to lose weight... so I would assume that person only thinks so because THEY have a problem with my weight. I love my dark skin but if someone kept bringing it up like "Wear sunblock, you don't need a tan"... same. Especially if I'm sleeping with the person... little throwaway comments can hurt MORE if they are about things you actually felt confident about...

@@SunshineJoleen the comment about fitting into the wedding dress came after he learned she had only eaten 1 banana and spoon of peanut butter, plus she turned down the food he offered her earlier. The difference between Cole & Bartiste is that Bartiste just wouldn’t let the looks thing go. No because if they don’t your mention beauty first cut your losses from the beginning. Attraction is foundation of a relationship and the way the men on the show treated the women they weren’t attracted to confirms the hypothesis.
Video suggestion: I personally and I know many other women have gone through relationships that left them feeling less than and the first thing a lot of us like to do is “glow up” not realizing that the physical transformation/ successes does not mend the brokenness inside and if anything it just reaffirms that we will somehow now be worthy once we achieve xyz… with my last boyfriend even tho he treated me amazing he told me that black women were not his first preference so I ended things but my self esteem took a big hit. I would love a video on how to heal INTERNALLY and release the shame and low self worth we feel from allowing less than we deserve. Thanks Breeny! Love might be blind but ego and lust have 20/20 vision. Bartiste was sexually attracted to Nancy because she's lovely and, uh, she was available. Once he saw Raven he was attracted to her for obvious reasons, and he saw her as someone who would bolster his standing among his peers and others. Men will marry women that they aren't attracted to because they serve them. They will not only step out on these women...but will feel justified in doing so. And they'll not be proud to have them on their arm. Women should avoid these men at all cost.

I think that's reductive. Attraction has a strong connection with biology. Often humans are unconsciously driven to find mates with compatible but disperate immune systems. The heterozygous advantage is also a huge factor. "Types" can be a way to explain these preferences. We should allow and not judge people with their sexual selection, it's a part of nature.

One of the biggest confidence boosters I’ve had is when I started taking my makeup off around my husband, he would always complement me more. He will always say baby. I believe that if God has someone for me, they will find me. I do not have to dress up with intentions or act in a kinda way for anyone. If a man approaches me and losses interest't cool, but I am not searching for nobody. The is sooo much pressure in finding the right person it is starting to be boring, honestly. I just wish we can all just relax and focus. Things happen a lot for people who do not care and just leave their lives. True love will locate me, that is my belief. My issue is that a lot of men always believe that you want them for just talking to them.
I can't wait to see your reactions to the second half. Because this whole season feels like a dumpster fire...
A man being attracted to you vs you being his type is a big big difference. When your his type - you could do no wrong in his eyes , he will chase and pursue you. When he's attracted to you- he will settle for you and tolerate you.
Why did these women stay with these men after they talk to them like this, is the real issue!

He was alright. I think they just both settled for each other honestly.
OMG the video title is EVERYTHING!!
Stunning!
I love talks like these
I have a type. I believe there are levels to attraction and when you are with your type, you are even more attracted to them. For instance, ( I would not prefer to use a scale of 1-10 but for the example) ,I would be more attracted to an 8 of my type than a 9 of someone who is not my type. For men, I believe they are less flexible concerning attraction compared to woman. Remember, from what I can recall, Cameron's previous girlfriend was black...Lauren was black. He got his type.
Raven plan backfired on her. She was goin for resources not looks. But once reality hit that she have to consider someone else's way of living hit her like a ton of bricks.
YESS hopefully you can do the Ultimatum next?
Breeny, you are so stunningly gorgeous, and smart and insightful!
You really did explain , what I felt during these episodes!!
spot on every word also i love how Raven shut him down lol
Yes I love what you said in this video you made some key points. I just don’t understand how people date or marry people they don’t find attractive 😅
What an interesting video. I didn't know that narcissists gravitate towards each other for those reasons. Overall, this is on point.
Well said BREENY!!! Great perspective 🧐

I've been dying for a new video. God bless push notifications
Thanks for the video. As you mentioned, many people on that show are driven by lust and a huge desire for fame. Love is a commitment made by people who are mature enough to know that looks, while important, cannot outweigh personality compatibility and goal alignment cuz that's what will make a relationship go the distance, not the sexual desire that will wear off once another hottie enters your vicinity 🙄

I’m so happy I’m over with wearing makeup. The sheer insecurity and inconvenience wearing makeup imposed on me, I had to quit wearing. Zaynab scene in the hot tub is sad, truly sad.
Love love love your skin color. So gorgeous
U gotta write a holybook of yours , I can’t believe how perfect in all aspects you are
I love love love this Thank you Goddess

Literally tho
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder for sure. My ex was the most beautiful man in the world to me when I met him, others did not see it and said I was out of his league but I didn’t care, they weren’t the ones dating him. We broke up because of his insecurities but I still think he was a gorgeous man. Ethiopian and Egyptian, he had a very unique look.

This is exactly what is destructive about boring beauty standards. I see many uniquely gorgeous people who either have no self confidence or are self-hating by setting out to date anything that fits the North American version of beauty.

Beauty is not in the eye of the beholder
HOLY SHIT!! I havent seen your videos in a minute and now that Im back my jaw dropped at seeing the weight you lost! Holy Shit!! You look AMAZING!! You were ALWAYS beautiful and you rocked your previous weight like a Champ but now?? Sheeeeesh girl!! Congrats!!!!
breeny i love u so much thank u!
Never heard more truer words. 💯
Personally, as a female, I understand the "guy's" perspective after sex, because I'm the same way. And in my experience, the guys that I met were not like that to me. It's not a gender based thing, it's an individual thing.
I weirdly ended up watching most of ur vid ❤Learned alot ❤
Breezy could you pls give us content explaining about these whole vibe of alpha male and female. Just for some of us to understand ourselves better. Also would you consider yourself an Alpha female? I feel like this is such an important topic and we could have no other better person unpack that whole conversation best other than you. ❤️🌹
That last part of knowing your man's previous type... Absolutely necessary!
Raven is not a narcissist
thank you this was insightful
My type has brought a good time but never happiness, Security, protection, compassion, and reliability. It was heartbreak city. I don’t believe types form healthy long standing relationships, unless your type is being emotionally, mentally, spiritually, and physically appreciated, respected, loved, and honored. Go where you are appreciated and taken care of, where there’s a partnership and understand that relationships are responsibility and hard work. I’m engaged to a man that isn’t my “type “ but he’s hot, sincere, provides, protects, committed and many other things that made me realize my type was a limiter that only cut my blessings short.
