Oh my gosh Paula, I cannot believe how long this is taking, I feel like I’m reliving my house after the flood we had. I felt like the contractors were enjoying our waterfront home way too much for way too long.the amount of time your home is taking is making me relive my own PTRD. Post traumatic remodel disorder. I will look forward to seeing it when it is finished and you are back in it, because your home is a beauty.

The way the boys do all these things that they know Paula will love and that will make her happy, reminds me of how I was with my grandma. I absolutely loved doing things for her, like buying flowers and plants for her garden. She deserved so much and appreciated everything, just like Paula. Good job Eddie!

Seeing the beautiful gardens in your yard reminded me of my Mother's sweetest older cousin's (Lucy Lee) home back in Montgomery. From the white brick wall covered in greenery, the hydrangeas, ferns and Caladiums, to the fluffy pinestraw neatly placed around the plants...for a moment I felt as if I was back in my childhood. Thank you for bringing back some precious memories for me to sip on. P.S. I have laughed over and over watching you save Eddie' hand from that bug and hearing him quietly laugh as you don't miss a beat and continue on with that smile!

I love that Paula is still so sweet and has not changed. Beautiful heart.

I just love the caladiums. My mother use to plant those in our garden when I was a child in Texas. They always looked so cool in the blazing hot Texas summers. Here in the mountains of North Carolina, I can get a few months of growth from them before they die off in the winter.

My late Southern Grandma also said that painting the porch ceiling blue kept “haints” (ghosts) from entering your house.

Thank you so much for taking us on this tour! The outside is going to be so beautiful and restful! I love hydrangeas, but I live in Arizona so I can't have any right now. And your dock... So stunning!! I just love the rustic look of it. My grandpa worked at a marina fixing boats most of his life (I'm originally from Michigan). The dock just took me back to when he was alive. I love the herringbone flooring! Your kitchen is going to be fabulous! I can't wait to see it all finished.

I love ALL of those plants in the yard & am so jealous of the palms🌴🌿🌺 & tropicals. Had so many of them in the past but no longer bc I'm no longer in the right climate & the yard is too blasted rocky. But can't wait to see the antique doors up. Love seeing the pups again too!! Looks great!
