Now I need some crunch but some people have allergies. I think I would have tried some granola or maybe tried some dried bananas as an add in just to see if I could simulate a crunch. But these are ideas.

Paula it just makes me happy to watch you because on the 6 th of September I actually had heart attack and Thank the Good Lord above I was in the right place at the right time and I died and had to be resuscitated an my ribs on my right side is bruised and fractured still really really sore but I am alive! Getting too enjoy your video’s once again but without the laughter because of my ribs, but I am like you I would rather have the banana bread with nuts in it lol!

Hi how are you doing?

An older lady gave me her recipe for banana nut bread when I was a very young teenager. I raised an eyebrow at the ingredients and just added my own adjustments of vanilla extract, cinnamon, more nuts and possibly an extra banana. Then one day she had a piece from a loaf I made and said, "Now that's real banana nut bread! Can I have the recipe?"

Paula, you're a delight! And relatable. I can look all over the house for something I'm looking for, and it'll end up being right in front of me! 😁 I never watched your earlier videos, but now that I'm in my 40s, I have some time to watch them, and I love these newer videos because you use simple ingredients and the recipes are quick. Hope you fared well through the hurricane. We really didn't get more than a drizzle in the part of fl I'm in. Please make more air fryer recipes - maybe sweet zucchini bread (or savory cheese breads) in 2 small aluminum loaf pans in the air fryer? They seem to be great breakfast foods.

If your Bananas ain't ripe just put them in the oven on 350° for about 10 mins. They will look all brown like you would want to trash them, but they are just perfect like that. I agree with Mrs. Dean I love mine with walnuts, the more the merrier.

Watching your videos is like cooking with my long gone grandmother. Your accent is just like hers was. She called a pot holder a "lifting rag" and I do too lol. My family settled in Savannah back in the late 18th century and had the Massey school there, before moving to East Texas in 1822. Love you Paula Deen.

i knew what you meant paula when "sifting" was hard to say and i was rooting for you to get it ..sifted before and or after,,,lol....i am gonna make it soon ,,,ty!!i make one with carrot and bananas for texture so its very moist ,,,its like a carrot cake and has a little different flavor with pumpkin when i put the pumpkin canned in with it,,,theyre both yummy and y'all keep baking its good for the soul,,,(if anyone wants the recipe its good for keto dieters and low carb used oat flour so,,,just ask i dont mind none)

Paula, a tip: bake those ripe bananas skib on, in the oven on 350° for about 15 minutes to turn them that ripened stage for banana bread!

I love you, Paula! I watch you every morning. I would love to see more air fryer recipes, because it's still new to me, and I have only mastered the "chicken" button, so far. I think I am a picky eater, but honestly I would try anything you make, even if it's not something I would normally eat , like butterbean soup. I watch other cooking shows but frankly I would never touch anything they make, just on general principle. I don't know how "they" have gotten so popular. Going to your restaurant is on my bucket list. But I doubt I'll ever get there, unless you open one in San Diego, California. Anyway I just wanted to tell you that I admire you and love your videos.

Banana nut bread my favorite and I have to have it homemade the Box ones have a strange flavor I've never found one yet close to what it should be so I don't get it that often baking from me can be hard I don't get around too well but I enjoy making banana nut bread now you got me wanting some I'll have to make it I'll just have to make it thank you Paula God bless you

I agree with you Paula! I like nuts in my banana bread too. Mostly chopped walnuts. I also sometimes like to add golden raisins, unsweetened shredded coconut, and finely chopped crushed pineapple. It's sooo good! 😊🍌🍞

If this is the recipe from your book it’s great! I use apple sauce and Splenda instead of butter and eggs to make it a little lower calorie.

Best easiest banana bread ever is 3 bananas smashed, 2 eggs, and one box of cake mix. Mix and add any other ingredients you want, nuts chocolate chips, Whatever. Backe like normal, toothpick comes out clean, its done. PS love ya Paula ❤

Paula, I put a peanut butter streusel topping on my banana bread or my muffins.. it is delish.,,. I have a peanut butter cake with PB streusel topping and i use that topping for the bread.. i have been making it this way for the last 28 years..

Is there a difference in using AP fllour, salt and soda over just using SR flour?

SR flour usually contains baking powder. You can make easily your own and it’s no different.

I'm with you on the Nuts Paula!!!! Unfortunately, my Grandson can't have Nuts, so if I made Banana Bread again, I'd have to make it without the Nuts.
