No drilling just had to cut the stake pockets. Cutting the stake pockets is a little tricky. I suggest dilling a little hole so you can see how much of the stake pocket to remove.

There is some. but not like your always looking for a spot to see . From the cab the vanes look wider apart

What model did you put on? I have a 19 f250 and putting the 12500 on to be shorter with the over rail tonneau adapter should eliminate the pop up look

@@shortCUT207 mine does pop up a bit it looks like. But if it was any shorter looks like the load would be pretty close to the cab. I'm Not sure if you had a rack at the back of your truck to level the load I'm just not sure what clearance you would have. Should be ok but something to check maybe good luck.

Does it really much with blocking out the sun? Im thinking about putting one on my two door to help keep sun off me. Thanks
