It took me longer to look at your review than do my install. The instructions that come with the product are very accurate and takes 10 minutes to install.

Would you know how to install this if I dont have any bed pockets like shown?

After installing the rack is it possible to put a tonneau bed cover on the bed? I bought a fiberglass top for my 07 Mega Cab and it doesn't have a rack that would allow me to carry my kayak. I like the fact it covers the bed but can't carry anything on top. My intention if to install the back rack then use a Harbor Freight bed extender secured to the bumper vertically allowing me to carry my kayak and still tow my cargo trailer camper.

How strong are the louvers? Will they easily dent and bend?

Backrack's no drill brackets have got to be the flimsiest mounting setup you could possibly use. Basically relying on the thin sheet metal at the stake pockets to keep a 50 lb headache rack in check! I bought a louvered backrack for my F150 but I'm making custom mounting brackets for it that should be much stronger. Not dogging on you by any means, I just can't believe this is the best solution the company could come up with. Also their packaging sucks. A little extra cardboard would go a long way. I bought and returned one, the next one had some bare metal spots on the ends but was much better than the first. Both boxes destroyed in shipping. For as much as they brag up their powdercoating they don't do much to protect it during shipping.
