Just installed one on my f150. Little Bit different stake post brackets but just as easy to install!

I bought a Back-Rack, took it apart, sandbalsted it, painted it a pretty metallic blue, and went to install it.... it's for a smaller sized truck >_ It still sort of fits, but the holes don't line up, so I'm going to make my own holes or just weld it... but then I'd have to fix the paint job again... Grumble!

Genius. I have to do this Immediately

How did you mount the whelen mini light bar onto the backrack??

where did you buy those bolts? or what do you call them?

How did you mount the light bar to the back rack? I have the same bar and just bought the back rack and have been thinking of how to install.

Rosa Nettles We cut a piece of thin steel and attached the light bar to that. Then we drilled 2 holes thru the "bracket" we made and the back rack. Hope that helps!

Backrack also makes brackets for mounting light bars and beacons. It’s cheaper to do it yourself though it may void the warranty if you drill holes (not sure).

I have the same lightbar for my plow truck it's the best ever

nick zutantas It is a great lightbar for the price! We have one on our 1 ton dump truck that we use for plowing as well.

MassHardscaper44 same bar i put on my back rack. it was a pain to mount though i ended up having to cut the tabs off and drilled new holes but it worked out well. only part that sucks is i dont fit in the car wash anymore...by about 1/4 in check out my plowing videos

nick zutantas This truck actually has a light switch from the factory which is mounted near the dome lights in the cab. Because of this it had wire already in the roof so I did not have to buy any extra wire for this but automotive wire which you can buy at almost any automotive store. I would suggest getting multiple strand wire so your not running multiple single strands.

Anyone know where I can get those L bolts for my ford f250?

Is there a way to prevent being stoled?

+BikeMoto123 Yep. You can buy it either way. We don't use magnets on any of ours.

You can't put a toolbox on top of it..... the brackets look backwards...

These aren't the toolbox brackets. They make longer square tube brackets for mounting tool boxes.
